Advice on HRT
Hello😊 im looking for HRT advice, Im 48 and recently started on estradiol 1% the brand I'm on is Divigel, I'm a little confused as I asked for a body identical one and this is bio identical, I've been on Dr Louise Newsons page and she said body identical is the safest oestrogen but my doctor said that

HRT & heart medication
Hi - I’m on a mix of heart medication following a quad bypass 2 years ago. Am now talking to my GP about going on an oestrogen only patch form of HRT as at 53 I seem to have some menopause symptoms. Does anyone (well ladies) have any experience of going on hrt with heart meds?

Testosterone & Covid-19
New study below [1] [2] When the pandemic began, it was quickly noted that a disproportionate number of men were dying from it. Made sense, since women mount a stronger immune response than me with high-normal testosterone [T]. And then the Italian study came out in May (2020) [3]: "Our data suggest

When to stop taking progesterone?
Hi Everyone, We've had some good news this end. I am currently 7.5 weeks pregnant...and with twins! After three early miscarriages, it felt like IVF was never going to work for us. We are still in a state of shock and are absolutely terrified day-to-day. Desperately hoping luck stays with us this time

Lining reduced after starting progesterone in FET
Hi everyone, Wondering if I could get some advice or see if anyone's had similar experiences. I am 35yrs old. I've had 2 miscarriages both at 6 week (age 33). At 5 weeks both had slow heart rates of 80. Then a week later nothing. My AMH was found to be low. Dr advised to continue trying to conceive naturally

Quetiapine- dosages and side effects
Hi, I had post partum psychosis after my first son. 10 years on I have been diagnosed bipolar. I used to take olanzapine but as you probably all know it makes you fat. Therefore I am on 300mg of quetiapine at night time. I also take sertraline (SSRI) for my terrible PMS/PMDD. And recently was put on

Embryo Transfer CD16
I went for my day 9 scan and my lining was 8.8mm so they have told me to start my progesterone tomorrow evening at 8pm and then I will have my transfer next Wednesday. That’s only CD16 does that feel too early or make any difference? Up until now my lining has been rubbish so it’s usually been cancelled

3rd failed FET
Hi there, We have had 2 medicated FET where my lining only got to 6.2 and a natural FET where my lining got to 6.9 (all unsuccessful). For the next round, the consultant has now suggested taking oestrogen from day 8 to boost my lining, and maybe transferring 2 embryos this time. Anyone else tried

It has been recommended to me to try either the more a or a progesterone only pill to minimise the estrogen and this the pain

More test results help- Cortisol and oestrogen
This may be pushing the boundaries of this forum, but does anyone know much on cortisol? The blood test came back quite high, and my estrogen is low. Any help much appreciated. (Oestrogen is <50pmo/l, range is 114-1959, cortisol below is 814 nmol/l, range is 133- 537)

Wondering if I have secondary Hypothyroidism??
Hi there! I hope everyone is doing good. I posted a few months ago about my symptoms, and the feedback from this community helped me to get my diagnosis of hypothyroidism (thank you). So, I have some more questions specifically for those out there who are knowledgeable about secondary hypothyroidism

Hi my FET was cancelled as lining only got to 6.4 :( any tips for a better one next time and anyone experienced a cancelled one and straight into the next.? I was asked to stop estrogen immediately upon the clinic cancelling and then have 10 days of progesterone. When would I expect to have my period

More on Transdermal Estrogen as ADT
As a quick follow up to my recent post, my MO has agreed to let me try 5-6 patches (Dotti, 0.1) changed 2x weekly to get to a castrate state more quickly, up from 4 patches, before I then drop back to a maintenance dose (TBD). He is happy with my PSA decline so far even though my T is not yet where it

Still 'tweaking' BHRT nearly a year later
Hi All I could really do with some advice/guidance/reassurance in relation to this matter. Having been advised that I was in early menopause early in 2020 I was originally left to it by my GP until I sought private help in relation to managing my symptoms. The symptoms I had/have are cramping, foggy

Af cramping / symptoms day 7-9 post FET, can I still get a BFP?!?
This is my first IVF cycle. I started to get bad AF like cramps between day 7-9 (it is day 9 and lighter today) post FET. My beta blood test test is tomorrow and my period is due Friday. I started to get sore breasts on day 7. I’m currently on progesterone injections, vaginal progesterone and estrogen

Anxiety And Histamine
Finally worked out why much of my anxiety/on edge feelings increased certain times of the year. There is a direct link between histamine and anxiety levels-check out on Google-lots of information. I'm 66 and take thyroid meds and always blamed this for my increasing anxiety. After much research-and having
