Embryo Transfer CD16

I went for my day 9 scan and my lining was 8.8mm so they have told me to start my progesterone tomorrow evening at 8pm and then I will have my transfer next Wednesday.

That’s only CD16 does that feel too early or make any difference?

Up until now my lining has been rubbish so it’s usually been cancelled after having one failed on CD23.

Last month I had the ERA which said I was ore receptive so need an extra 24 hours progesterone and they upped my estrogen which clearly helped me get to 8.8mm today and day 9.

I guess I just want to know does it matter having the transfer on day 16? Has anyone had success? I had always thought you needed to have it between CD18-22?

Doctors seemed happy with it though?

Thoughts?

Go with what your doctors say.

Everyone’s lining responds differently - i’ve had natural transfers done and my lining gets to the required 8 mm pretty quickly.

They will need you to start the extra progesterone in good time to ensure you have enough of a level to start to support a viable pregnancy

Good luck
