I started an Egg recipient treatment in February. It was a down regulated cycle. I was placed on Oestrogen patches (200mg) and oestrogen tabs (8mg). The cycle ended up being cancelled because my uterine lining did not go beyond 4.5mm. I spotted for 3days after getting off the patches and tabs. Had an appointment with my consultant and he wanted me to refer me for hysteroscopy to inviestigate my uterine lining which he said will take about 6-8weeks. I couldn’t bear to be in limbo in this so I suggested that he should try me on other meds in another cycle and the refer me if it doesn’t work then which agreed to. I was then placed on oestrogen tabs(2mg) for 21 days and progesterone pessaries for 7days. Is this not a medicated cycle to get a period? Is he just trying to slow me down by trick?
Secondly, what more can I use to help my uterine lining apart from Vitamin E, POM juice and L-arginine?
Thanks in advance

Hello, sorry to hear about the cancellation ☹️. My doctor told me that I should be as active as possible, I also did something called pressotherapy which increases the blood flow through your body. I had never heard of this before but the doctor said that she has had great results with it. As for additional supplements, I think you are doing everything right there. I can't remember anything about meds. I hope you can get some answers. Xxx
I’m sure this would be the same as a FET as I presume they didn’t cancel donor cycle but instead froze eggs? If so, then the meds are right. As you would suppress ovulation with oestrogen and thicken lining with progesterone. Hope this helps xxx good luck this time.
Donor cycle wasn’t cancelled and yes eggs were frozen. Just wondering why my consultant is taking me through a medicated cycle to induce a bleed instead of medicating me for FET 😐
