Zoladex & Tibolone
Hello, I was given the Zoladex injection yesterday (didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would, just a sharp sting for a few seconds in the tummy). Now I’m advised to take Tibolone HRT everyday. This treatment is to see how I respond to HRT ahead of a radical hysterectomy. My worry is, my family have

medical marijuana and COPD
I read an article on line that said medical marijuana reduces inflammation and provides better sleep. I am not to sure whether it was CBD (does not cause a high) or HTC ( causes a high. Does anyone have evidence or have tried it for your COPD?

Sex and incontinence

Surgery vs Radiotherapy for Gleason 9-10.
New study below. I think that surgery was not considered to be a good option for GS=9/10 in 2004. "Can treatment with radical prostatectomy, adjuvant external beam radiotherapy, and androgen deprivation therapy (termed MaxRP) or external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and androgen deprivation therapy

Effectiveness of Radical Prostatectomy Versus External Beam Radiation Therapy Plus Brachytherapy in Patients with High-risk Localized PCa.
New study below. When I opted for Radical Prostatectomy [RP] 14 years ago it was on the basis of 10-year survival (from an online tool that used a half-dozen parameters, including age. Over the years I have heard oncologists saying that RP is no loger the gold standard, but survival studies continue

CBD card and Medical Marijuana
GE, all. How is everyone doing? I want to ask a couple of questions. First, does anyone have a CBD card? Oh, CBD alone is legal. Anyway, if so, was it difficult to get? Next, how many of you consider medical marijuana a viable part of your multiple sclerosis treatment? Last, does anyone expect MM to

Cbd oil
I bought this because it came as a recommendation from someone who takes it. It is from the cannabis plant. It doesn't have the thc in it that's what makes you high. It was expensive a small bottle for $60. I had high hopes it would work. I'm so disappointed. I've been on a lot of different meds for

Latent Gleason Number 5.
New Japanese study. I don't know what percentage of U.S. men are diagnosed with Gleason score 4+5, 5+4 or 5+5, based on a biopsy, but in this Japanese cohort ~11% were 'GP5 positive'. However, ~25% (!!!) were 'latent GP5' "absence of GP5 in the biopsy specimen, but presence of GP5 in the prostatectomy

natural treatments
I have also hired a nurse who works for
medical
cannabis
who prescribed a tincture for me to try. I have always been very sensitive to medicine. My fear is the prednisone was the only thing that actually helped thus far. I was almost unable to walk when I was diagnosed with PMR.

Is there a link between thyroid problems & rheumatoid arthritis?
The hope is
medical
cannabis
can be given as the new treatment going forward, so fingers crossed. I've told them about Magnesium Glycinate in the hope that can go towards offering some relief.

Robot‐assisted radical prostatectomy [RARP] experience.
New study. I had open surgery 14 years ago. When RARP became more available I believe that it was oversold to patients, in the sense that experience was lacking. I kept reading that it took a lot of operations to become proficient. My friend & neighbor Jim rushed into RARP & his first day home woke

Ovary removal
Hi I had cervical cancer 10 years ago and kept my ovaries. Next week I’m getting one out as it’s attached to bowel and I get cysts on it..about 6 a year. I had a cyst removed 7 years ago and remember the pain being just as bad as the radical hysterectomy. Anyone had ovary removed recently? Just wondering
