Does anyone have experience of medical cannabis? There was a webinair, last week that said it promoted the growth of the myelin ?

If you use the above would you be able to recommend a supplier. I'm new to this and want to make sure I access a responsible site. I am in the UK Thank you

Has anyone tried medical cannabis for pain relief? I have severe arthritis which limits my life quite a lot, my doctor won’t refer me for knee replacement until I lose more weight, and being on Rux has meant more weight gain! Obviously will need to ask haematologist about.

He also suggested trying medical cannabis and recommended the CuraLeaf Clinic.

has anybody in the UK had any success with using medical cannabis for pain please? I’ve tried pretty much every pain medication for my back pain but nothing helps or I can’t deal with the side effects. It seems a bit confusing where to get it and cost etc.

I have in vain tried several anti nausea medications and also medical cannabis. i also wondered what are the symptoms of withdrawal ie if the patch runs out prematurely but there is still enough buprenorphine in the body to prevent RLS as I believe that the nausea could be caused by this?

Currently on gabapentin and medical cannabis. Sadly, while they do relief symtomps to a certain extent, I can still hardly get any sleep and it’s just becoming rather unmanageable. RLS is affecting each and every area of my life - constant exhaustion, RLS in arms, day time RLS every single day.

cannabis to see if the Topamax and Pregabalin work but I’m still getting day and night RLS symptoms, a feeling of a lump in my throat and nerve pain from surgery.

Also, I tried to get a prescription for medical cannabis, but the Neurologist could not prescribe it for RLS. Has anybody heard about studies testing medical cannabis on patients with RLS / PLMD? One last thing. Is there a RLS / PLMD charity in Northern Ireland? Than you for reading my message.

I have unsuccessfully tried many anti nausea drugs and methods including Symprove probiotic and seem to be left with only one other route ie medical cannabis.

Does anyone have any experience with Medical Cannabis? As I’m in the UK I understand that it can only be prescribed by specialist doctors but I think it’s almost impossible to get it on the NHS! (I read somewhere that there’s only been a very limited number of patients who’ve been given this).

I have been well guided by many on this site as to how to combat the nausea and have tried many of the suggested solutions except for me the last resort medical cannabis. I am currently using Zofran anti nausea tablets.

I have a few plans in place that I am starting with as a baseline in all three of the titled categories, including Regular exercise, Stress Management, Nutrition and seeing if a more Holistic approach works for me such as Medical Cannabis and consulting a Herbalist.

Nothing I couldn’t deal with - I took 0.3ml medical cannabis oil at bedtime as advised by Jools, and this must have reduced the severity. On subsequent nights I’ve taken just one 0.2mg tablet at around 9.30pm. Again, no RLS and almost no nausea.

Has anybody tried and had good results with Medical Cannabis for RLS/PLMD. Looking at this in case Buprenorphine does not work. So far on 0.4 sublingual tablet, severe side effects during day and not working at night now!! Worked for first 3 nights.
