Medical Marijuana
I think that marijuana should be considered as a treatment for PD. Marijuana is the only medication that actually works for me. Instead of feeling doomed I start thinking: "I can live with this". Too bad there is so much negative propaganda associated with pot. It's a miracle treatment.

Radical hysterectomy and menopausal symtoms.
Hi, I'm new to this site but just wanted some advise/support. I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in March and have just had my 4th round of carboplatin. On 25th July I'll be having a radical hysterectomy, debulking, removal of 2 large cysts on my ovaries (which they say look borderline) and

Great Sunday Times Article Dec 09
This article came out recently in the Sunday Times - brilliantly written story: I was just 40 when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. That’s pretty unusual — only 15% of cases occur in women below the age of 50. It’s one of those diseases that’s completely unsexy. It lacks the trendy factor: we don

six-month post chemo CA125 result. And Avastin. Is it available in the UK?
I keep an eye on this site on behalf of a very dear friend, diagnosed stage 3c last August. She and I find your questions and answers a constant source of support; I hope nobody minds me asking something on her behalf. She is about to get her latest CA125 result, post radical hysterectomy and 6 months

CA125 levels raised after debulking
Hi, 3 weeks ago I had surgical staging, radical hysterectomy and debulking. Thankfully everything went fine with the surgery and staging remains at 1C, with no traces or cells found in the biopsies. All good. Still have to have chemo, which starts next week, but also just had a reading of 400 on my
