CBD card and Medical Marijuana

GE, all. How is everyone doing?

I want to ask a couple of questions.

First, does anyone have a CBD card?

Oh, CBD alone is legal.

Anyway, if so, was it difficult to get?

Next, how many of you consider medical marijuana a viable part of your multiple sclerosis treatment?

Last, does anyone expect MM to be fully legalized across the board?

Yes - had card prior to legalization this year (CA state). At the time it took 30 minutes to get.

I have found that THC works the best for my Spaticity and use CBD oil during the work day.

I'm too new to MS to venture a guess on a cure, but my fingers are crossed!

My sister uses CBD oil for her cancer and she keeps recommending it to me for pain. I live in the U.K. where you can get it on prescription but my neurologist said I am not bad enough yet. You can buy it now at Holland and Barrett and on Amazon but I hesitate at using with what I already take. Let us know how you get on. Blessings Jimeka 🦋

I live in a MM state. I use it every night around 7pm. It helps relaxes me and I have less spasms. I have found I need a mix of CBD and THC. Wish you the best. God's Peace 🙏

I am so happy to hear that you are having a good outcome. I honestly think this is a way to help people with auto immune diseases.

I live in CT and went to the Medical Marijuana dispensary for the first time today. Fortunately I met with a pharmacist who helped me choose what I hope will help with spasms, sleep and pain. I will share that it’s not inexpensive here. The prescribed drugs are much less expensive because of insurance although I would really like to use more natural substances when possible. Good luck to you!

Wow this is the 1st time I've ever heard about the cost being a factor. This is the kind of news that we need here at the site. Thank you for sharing that. I would have never guessed that it was more expensive than actual Rx.

I would try CBD for staying asleep and anxiety but I hope to get my medical coder certification next year if everything works out 🤞. I’m hesitant to try this because of ramifications of drug testing at work. I’m in OR and although it’s legal here for both medical and recreational an employer can still randomly test you particularly if you’re in the medical field. I know as a medical coder you have little to no interaction with patients but the positivity of a random drug test could spell trouble. Then again I really don’t know to much about CBD, THC, and MM. To answer your last question, in my opinion, I would say that with the current administration (in US) if there’s money to be made then it would be pushed hard on a fast track for legalization but they’ve got to deal with the whole war on drugs thing. I have read somewhere that they want to get the synthetic version approved by the FDA as a way to squeeze out the growers and the industry in general just to make more money for the pharmaceutical industry (like they don’t make enough already).

Listen, you have to do what's best for you. No one walks in your shoes except you.

Hi: I live in Puerto Rico and I'm using a hybrid, Cherry Wine, it is high on CBD so it helps with the inflammation and pain, and low on THC because I suffer from arrhythmia and I don't want my heart rate to go up.

I just received my MM card. I just started with 1:1 gummies without results. Everyone tells me I need something more potent to work. I may try vaping to help with spasms and pain.

The Dr that is licensed to prescribe it where I live(Pa.) told me to wait a couple months because the state government is voting soon to fully legalize it which will make it available for the insurance companies to cover it.

Yes I hope. Cbd is legal in all states. Someone told me that for chronic pain and sleep you need 15%of each. I try to research for hemp plant and many advertising for other ingredients. Working on medical marijuana card.
