Feeling very odd and panicky
I've been on a higher dose of Levothyroxine for 2 weeks (was on 100mg, now 125mg), and this afternoon I started feeling really strange, anxious and panicky. It reminded me of when I first started taking my anti-depressants, but also when I was weaning down my hydrocortisone replacement and going into

At last!
Finally got my azathioprine Starting at 50mg for 2 weeks then 100 then 150. Blood tests etc as before. But if 150 not enough will up to 200. Also just picked up my zomorph 60mg as I had the worst flare I've ever had start yesterday. Absolutely awful. Can't use thumbs. Fingers awful, legs and feet agony

Possible fluid retention
Hi, I'm 18 and have had lupus overlapped with dermatomyositis for 6 years. My usual symptoms are joint and muscle pain, fatigue, and nausea and I am currently taking plaquenil, azathioprine, omeprazole and cyclizine. More recently I've been suffering with what I think is fluid retention - after drinking

Not sure if this is the best place to post........ I've been ill for just over 2 1/2 years now. In that time I've had my appendix, gallbladder, and left ovary removed. I've also had exploratory surgery, ovarian cysts drained, and viral meningitis. On top of all that I have extreme fatigue, joint pain

FLAIR Trial – ErnieUK: Red and White Cell Cytopenias before round 3 FCR
I’m happily into round 3 of the FCR arm of the FLAIR trial now, with a couple of hiccups on the way. As always please correct me on any errors/omissions and please share your own experiences. I have had problems in round 3 with both Red Cell and White Cell Cytopenias i.e. Not enough of these cells.

Sickness follows me after injection
Hi all - I wondered if anyone could pass some advice for feeling sick......I'm currently on 20mg methatrexate injection and 5mg of folic acid for 6 days after injection, plus cyclizine hydrochloride 50mg 3 x a day (try not to take this everyday) but I feel so sick for about 3 days after my injection

FCR Round 2 Uncontrolled Sickness
As I reported in recent post about my bloods for the start of round 2, I got into problems with the anti-sickness medication for round 2, and despite trying to analyse what I did wrong in round 1 actually managed to make things worse and ended up in my local hospital to get sorted out. I've been back

Medication timings
I am just about to start a clinical trial, that new drug which is similar to Xolair. I am quite keen to know if the drug is effective in me, my consultant has seen some great results in very similar patients, and so i'm hopefully it could be good for me long term. I am however keen to make things as

New here but I can not believe that this is all from anxiety... please read... dizziness/heavy head and eye pressure etc!!!! 26 year old!!
Prescribed me
meclizine
and Haloperidol 0.5mg. I definitly am dying of something and no one knows. I pace around all day thinking of how awful and heavy my head feels, and how much panic I have, and just the feeling of being off balance and dizzy.

Help! Advice needed!
Hi everyone, I would really like some advice ... In January I had routine blood tests prior to having a laparoscopy which showed elevated liver enzymes. These levels were tested again and it showed they were getting higher so I was told to stop taking all painkillers (I was taking a number of them

sorry - had to share this, and i know its not asthma (but its because of my stupid lungs so i thought i could) After weeks and weeks of my GP becoming a nightmare - he turned from really great and supportive to awful really fast. he's gone on a medication cull, despite the fact that varapamil was slowing
