Now on to my cross-fibre massage, which I have done daily in the last few days, and I think these are also a game changer.

Trip to the Physio; the verdict!!
She said that I needed to extend my massage ball work, which I always do for my calves, to include hamstrings and quads too. No problem. She dismissed any notion of 3 runs per week and doing regular long distance runs as being “too much” for the 71 year old me.
