First park run!!!
10 months ago I had a large undiagnosed tumour on my adrenal gland. Over 2 years I had became very sick, had uncontrollable high blood pressure, palpitations, became diabetic and threw up on a daily basis. Eventually any physical activity like going up the stairs and even getting out of bed would result

Allow me to introduce myself.
Hello all, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as I just joined the group. My name is Chris and I live in northern California. I was diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety in 2015, but truthfully, it's something I've struggled with since a very young age. To my best recollection, I had

My 3 Tips
1) Be gentle and kind with yourself...do things that make you happy....walking, time with family/friends, painting, yoga, etc 2) Seek out counselling. Sometimes it’s really tough to have difficult conversations with family and friends, but having a neutral person to talk with can help you deal with all

Anxiety & Panic During Pregnancy
Hi, All. I'm new here. I'm 35 years old and have suffered from panic and anxiety since I was 19. Luckily, I found activities that really helped -- exercise, meditation, yoga. I've been to counseling to help deal with my anxiety and I'm open with my friends and family about my condition. When I was 20

Taking the antidepressant plunge
I have been suffering with anxiety since September last year and it has all formed from depression and stress. I have managed the panic attacks with counselling and beta blockers..but now the depression which has gone unattended is affecting me greatly. Everyone I know is telling me to go on antidepressants

7 year old boy diagnosed with Liver Disease
I'm devastated. Today I was told my 7 year old son has Liver disease. Despite a few issues he seems so healthy and happy at the moment. How do I tell him? What do I tell him? I did a bit of searching and was ill from reading the stories of how this disease degrades and the terror of watching your child

Work
So low at the moment. My health sucks, work sucks. I just don't feel that I am listened to at work. I have now put myself forward for counselling at work as I just feel like I can't cope here. I am low on most days and the fact that I feel like my health is declining doesn't help. Trying to date someone

Coffee, counselling and consent.
Well, there’s no going back now! Egg Sharing/IVF consent forms have been signed and our next trip to the clinic will be for the injection lesson, exciting! As always, with us both being a bit OCD, we arrived at our appointment mega early so decided to make the most of the free coffee in the reception

NHS Fertility Counselling
NHS Fertility Counselling question: We have this next week and we're just wondering what should we expect? The letter doesn't say anything about how long the appointment is or if we should prepare anything or such. Any advice would be really helpful in reducing my anxiety and helping me feel more calm

dyspareunia...
So I have suffered from this on and occasionally off for the last 4 years.... At the beginning I saw a gynaecologist who basically said I had Vaginismus and wasn’t really helpful or sympathetic to my discomfort I was to ‘man up’. I tried extra lube...by the ton, and vaginal dilators...after months of

The mystery of fibromyalgia unravelling one day at a time!!
Greetings on this sunny day ...I find for me, with fibromyalgia being positive is always a better solution ,but it wasn't always that way ...I worked hard mentally and physically since 1992 to be as well as I can be every day. Just like that proverbial glass ,is it half full or half

Accepting my conditions - FH & High Blood Pressure
Hi there, I am really struggling with my diagnosis. I was told a long time ago that I had familial hypercholestralemia. I thought at the time that there was sort of ''cure''. I know realise this was me talking as a ten year old child. It upsets me greatly that I have this condition and I find it such

Have you heard of resilience training? Two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is a believer.
What is resilience training and why is it important for my chronic knee pain and overall health? Turns out it was an orientation- ya, sure, throw 20 anxiety ridden strangers in a room without telling them what was going on and show them a flipping slide show. Got a call Friday for

Our Journey so far
Hi All, New here and just thought I'd make a first post and give a brief run down of our journey. My partner is a T-6 Paraplegic and as such has no sperm. I knew this from very early on when we got together so it was never an issue. We had our first IVF app about 6 weeks ago, the dr ran through our
