Severe iron deficiency and Hasimotos
Does anyone have any thoughts as to whether this could be celiac which is now full blown or just a severe gluten intolerance combined with Hashimotos
malabsorption
?

Low enough to cause symptoms?
I've been taking lansoprazole for 17 years now so could that be causing
malabsorption
problems? To save time and NHS money I ordered an active B12 test and the result is 39.6pmol/L Range 25.10 - 165.00 I'm a bit stumped as to what next. Are these results low enough to cause issues?

Has anyone else had peripheral neuropathy with high folate?
My doctor said it is probably caused by my fat
malabsorption
and nothing to worry about. However, I found this on the internet today; https://now.tufts.edu/news-releases/high-folate-intake-linked-nerve-damage-risk-older-adults-common-gene-variant Has anyone else run into this?

Dysbiosis problems with Pernicious Anaemia
I had a breath test last year which came back with sky high positive results that suggested
malabsorption
or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

PA without IF antibodies?
But for now, based on the above, do you think I'm right in the
malabsorption
Dx and is it the case that they can't rule out PA without checking Parietal Cell AB also?? Or is PA only Anti IF and Anti Parietal Cell is something different altogether? Thanks in advance and wishing everyone well. Px

May is Coeliac awareness month in the US and Canada,
This is because gluten is toxic to coeliac (celiac in the US) so its bound to make us tense and when a coeliac ingests gluten the villi collapses and we have to expel the toxin and after a while

Acid Bile Diarrhea/Malabsorption
He’s running bloods, tests and a colonoscopy but has suggested Bile Acid Diarrhea/
Malabsorption
. I’ve never heard of this but since googling I think he may have got it spot on. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this type of IBS and is the treatment successfull?

I feel the root cause is my gut,
malabsorption
etc as I already have celiac disease. 3 years ago I had a large goiter removed with half my thyroid. I remember feeling like I had energy after the op but now it feels like deja vu!

MANAGEMENT OF ENDOCRINE DISEASE: Pitfalls on the replacement therapy for primary and central hypothyroidism in adults
Despite being easily treatable with a daily dose of LT4, many patients remain hypothyroid due to
malabsorption
syndromes, autoimmune gastritis, pancreatic and liver disorders, drug interactions, polymorphisms in type 2 deiodinase, high fiber diet, and more frequently, non-compliance to LT4 therapy.

Questions about folate and neurological symptoms
I had read that even if I have a mutant gene or
malabsorption
issues that I should be able to use some of it? And that it is not good to have high levels in your blood of unmetabolised FA? ( I have sent off my sample for the 23 gene test).
