Pins and needles hands
Hi, i finally got rid of my neuropathy with alpha lipotic acid and vit B. But it as the ALA that finally sorted it out for me , a lot of cancer patients have neuropathy from the chemo and ALA is what they use . If you type in Alpha lipotic acid and neuropathy there is plenty online and you tube about it. As always, clear it with Doctor mine was fine about it as it clearly worked for me. I had thought i would need to take it for life but have found after 3 months my pain has stopped totally in hands and feet so have stopped ALA at the moment but still tke all the B vits. If the pains come back ( fingers crossed ! ) Ill go back on ALA. Hope this helps and gives you something to look into.
As soon as I read "pins and needles" I was going to suggest Alpha Lipoic Acid* I believe A.L.A. saved my itching skin and continue to take it with Milk Thistle everyday. So happy to hear it works for you, too.
Ive just started using Natures Plus Gold Drink Mix in morning smoothy and Mitochondrial NRG , both with Alpha Lipoic Acid (im now seeing that) for about one week. Ive noticed improvement in surface of hands. The Natures Plus product has both R-lipoic Acid and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Im wondering if synthetic has something to do with that name. It seems to be working but ill need to get more educated on how often or how long i take this stuff.
Thanks for the nugget of information! It's hard to find anyone with experience. Ive just started using Natures Plus Gold Drink Mix in morning smoothy and Mitochondrial NRG , both with Lipoic Acid (im now seeing that) for about one week. The surface of my palm is almost normal and fingers are a bit pruny. Two months ago my hands were pins needles causing sloppy hand writing but hand writing came back after a week and now my finger tips are just pruny. The ALA seems to have speeded up the improvement to normalcy in just one week. I dont know if i want to keep taking above supplement daily but im wondering if i should take once a weekly. What are the reasons why somebody shouldn't take too regularly?
How much daily did you take of the ALA?
Thanks for asking question. Yesterday i was looking in grocery store Vitamin section at about 8 choices mostly 100mg to 300mg , i finally purchased one on sale at $10 bucks for 60 pills of 100mg each. I took 2 in afternoon. A couple of hours i felt most improvement yet. Later in evening i watched a couple youtube videos claiming the Chinese did study of patients starting to see results at1,800 mg. So i took 3 more while watching video. A total of 5 yesterday , so 500 mg. I sleeped really well with positive dreams and my hands feel best yet. I took one pill this morning. How many mg is good each day?
......... I hope you've changed your diet now 😲

Yes, im starting to see how diet and alcohol can deplete body of all nutrients and the medical field arent efficient in getting the right nutrition in people. Has anyone tried putting 1000 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid to see any improvement?
I got rid of mine by stopping drinking for 2 months was also using the odd wellman vitamins occasionally-no more issues
Yes it seems vitamin blends can help maliabsorbtion issues, i havent drank for 3 months and my pins and needles have turned into a less pruny feeling. Symptoms seem to improve a tiny bit each day. Ive just started using Natures Plus Gold Drink Mix in morning smoothy and Mitochondrial NRG , both with Lipoic Acid (im now seeing that) for about one week. The surface of my hands are noticeably better. Pins and needles went away and now just prunyness in fingers and tips. Palms of hands, mainly ulnar nerve out to pinky digit is more normal now.
