I’m pretty new to this group but am very grateful to be part of this forum. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2017 and started sodium risedronate around 2018. I took it until about 4 months ago when my Endocrinologist took me off to put me on Prolia, which she assured me had no contraindications

Supplements and levothyroxine
Hi, After recent bloods my T4 was increased from 112.5mcg to 150mcg T4. I've not included results as I've done that before and it's not what I'd like help on. My next blood tests are on 25th July (8 weeks after increase). It has been recommended on this site that I also supplement Vit D3 as it was

Update on magnesium supplement for missed beats.
I had Covid early in 2020 and immediately noticed missed heartbeats at a fairly constant rate. Quite a common after effect I've been told. Cardiology put me on a Holter and told me I had sinus node disease and second degree heart block and inserted a pacemaker to stop bpm going too low whilst asleep

Takes time but getting better
It is a long and often painful journey but my experience is that I/we am/are getting quite a lot back brainwise but very slowly. At the moment I'm on immune suppressants to stop my brain inflaming itself and any infection is potentially fatal. I'm also on anti-biotics to treat a water infection or UTI

Hello, I am 52 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of months ago by my primary doctor. She treated me for anxiety and depression for years with medications but had no luck. This led to the ADHD diagnosis. I am now waiting to see a physiatrist to confirm it after weeks of trying to find

Magnesium threonate
Following on from my magnesium/arsenic query, I've been advised to take magnesium threonate for tinnitus. Does anyone else take this supplement and can they recommend a brand? Thank you!

Cramps in legs.
2 days ago I got pain in the back of my neck. Hubby said I must have been in a draught. That night I got terrible cramps in both my legs. They lasted about an hour. I used Magnesium oil and it helped. Had them again last night . Anyone else suffer with cramps. I drink plenty water and go for my walks

Test Results show over-replacement but
Dear All, I went to the Specialist and he agreed to prescribe T3 until my next review in September. He was quite pleasant and understood some of my points. Unfortunately not all points but nevertheless I believe it was a fruitful appointment. I got the result of the blood test done on the day. Mind due

Mind-Map of Lone AF, Thyroid, Gilbert's and Autism
I'm new to forums about the above. So, forgive me if I'm going over old ground. My medical history is really only remarkable for mild Gilbert's Syndrome (hyperbilirubinaemia) and mercury fillings (in common with much of the UK of my generation!). However, 13 years ago I was diagnosed with lone paroxysmal

Hashimotos fatigue
I was given Novothyral 2 years ago by a FM doc but recent tests showed antibodies so saw an endocrinologist. She diagnosed hashimotos but said the Novothyral dose isn’t right. I started taking levothyroxine straight away about 2 weeks ago but I’m still waiting for my order of T3 to come through, since

Early morning chest pain - update
A few days ago I mentioned about getting early morning chest pain and several of you very kindly responded. Since then I've increased my soluble magnesium intake and things are much better. For some reason, probably because I thought I might be taking too many supplements, several months ago I halved

So I finally went to the GI doc
I've been fighting a bit of a losing battle with constipation - regardless of a lot of fiber intake, lots of water, chewing food more, etc I am still getting hit with it every few days it seems. It hasn't triggered my Afib, (one good thing!) only a few ectopics when I get really backed up - but she

Good Evening, is anyone able to recommend a good brand of Magnesium Malate please? An idea of a reasonable daily dosage would be most helpful too as there are various size tablets. Thank you very much Ann

IBS problem - urge to go quickly and anxiety
Hi, This is very frustrating. I am not on medication, apart from iron, vitamin C and magnesium. For some reason I get the urge to have to go quickly and when least convenient. It's so frustrating having to plan toilets on my trip. Getting very anxious!!! Anyone else has this? How do I help myself. By
