Which magesium to take?
I've been taking Magnelon 300 soluble tablets for about 3 years. They were recommended by my GP when my PMR symptoms first appeared, but before I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist. They're fine but do have a laxative effect. Several people have recommended Magnesium Bisglycinate. Is this a good

I am now able to tolerate antibiotics again after my nerves healed
Hello! I just want to give this update about my situation. I hope people on here find this because my situation was a nightmare and I think this can help people who are confused and not sure what to do or if they'll ever be able to tolerate antibiotics again (TL;DR: you will be able to if you can heal

Good evening all. As a CMT 1a from birth but not diagnosed until mid 40s.. Had both ankles realigned and one rebuilt, taking painkillers until they come out of my arse. Have in the past six months met a new woman in my life and she has really helped in looking into all different aspects of this shitty

What vitamin gummies are we using?
I keep reading about zinc, omega 3 and magnesium. Does anyone have recommendations on gummy vitamins they use for ADHD that are helping? My daughter is 7. Thanks!

A suggestion that is working well, for me at least. AT least for now.
I think RLS can have several triggers, as well as several things that help. Sometimes it changes and what worked often does not neccessarily work each time. It may work again, but in the meantime, you need something else. Certainly avoiding foods or substances that bother and trigger the RLS, is a

Sleepy Girl Mocktail
While I'm very much into magnesium, and like cherry juice, I've not tried this - but the 'Sleepy Girl Mocktail' made the New York Times today: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/17/well/live/sleepy-girl-mocktail-cherry-magnesium.html More from the Cleveland Clinic last November: https://health.clevelandclinic.org

Feedback in garlic/ ginger paste for RLS
Have been eating this paste for over 5 weeks now.. generally from late afternoon and evening. The taste is awful but it does seem to be helping...as long as I avoid alcohol. I have had 2 evenings of RLS in that time ..Therapulse and listening to music stopped it. But the friend who recommended the mixture

molecular hydrogen… what do we think people?
Ari Whitten has started a new company- Human optimisation. It is selling molecular hydrogen. It appears it is metallic magnesium in a tablet with some food acids so a chemical reaction occurs to produce the hydrogen. https://humanoptimization.com/products/molecular-hydrogen/?inf_contact_key=dfc54b7ff53610a137e0ab9337ae0188842e902fbefb79ab9abae13bfcb46658

Sleeping with ectopics
I have been getting ectopic beats for the last three weeks. At times it can be as many as 1 every 30 normal beats, at other times I don’t get one for hours. No idea what the triggers are. Already on BP meds, including Bisoprolol. Went to see GP last week, she sent me off to ED where an ECG, blood tests

RBC Magnesium test (not Serum)
I am trying to find a home blood test for RBC Magnesium (as the serum test is inaccurate due to most of the magnesium being in your muscles and bones). I have read that too little magnesium may be connected to Afib. Does anyone know of a company in the UK that does this RBC Magnesium test? All the usual

Sorbolene Lotion experience and my RLS
I was prescribed Sorbolene Lotion for my lower legs for dry skin - had very bad dry skin that was basically permanent. Anyway, I found that my restless legs disappeared after applying the cream. The cream is essentially just a moisturiser - says it has glycerine and vitamin E in it. I was applying it

Low appetite
Hi, undiagnosed but strongly suspect hypo possibly Hashi and gathering info/signs etc. Started supplements for folate, vit d (with k) and b complex just about to start magnesium too. On HRT including DHEA. So, my appetite has been on the wane, probably since menopause and thyroid problems began.

Exercise and Low Thyroid: Am I doing more harm than good? Advice, please!
I would like to ask about having low thyroid levels and doing exercise. I have hypo symptoms, and blood tests show low FT3 and FT4, but normal TSH (for reference, last blood test results are below). So far, no doctor or endocrinologist thinks I have any thyroid issue. One of my symptoms has been unexplained
