Had to reduce my levo as gone hyper. Does the reduction affect Lyrica and Nortriptyline. Either make them stronger or weaker? Anxious!!!
Am wondering in theory if levo is sometimes used to enhance the effects of Nortriptyline can reducing the levo be sort of the same as cutting down the Nortriptyline (reverse of enhancing) I have been taking Nortriptyline and
Lyrica
for neuropathic pain but they don't work!

Lyrica (pregabalin)?
I was on Amitriptyline before the
Lyrica
which also did nothing for my pain, which is why I was switched to
Lyrica
, but the Amitriptyline did help me sleep... Advice greatly appreciated :)

Feeling so bad
I've also seen a mental health nurse but they wanted to double my
lyrica
dose which I tried but that made me feel drunk. I get no support for the family I have left, absoloutely none. I've tried keeping in touch but I've given up now,it just feels horrible to be rejected.

Soula’s PN Weather Update
After a horrid previous experience with a Tramedo/
Lyrica
cocktail, I approached my next recommendation from Dr Courtney and Anne-Florence Plante with much more caution. Surprise, surprise I have pain relief and nowhere near the horrific side effects that left me unable and unrecognisable to myself.

Does anyone have any experience with Pregabalina (Lyrica)?
I was on Amytriptyline for some time for neuropathetic pain even though I was on 50mgs it wasn't really working. I tried a Bustrans patch to which I reacted so the GP suggested Pregabalina, I've been on it for a month or so however it makes me feel rather whoozy & I'm nor sure it's helping with pain

Gabapentin or Lyrica
Can anyone tell me the difference between Gabapentin, which I am on and
Lyrica
which a lot of you seem to be on.

For Those on Pregablin
Hi I have an elderly friend who is on Pregablin (
Lyrica
) and she is convinced it has caused her to go deaf, she has always had excellent hearing but despite this has noticed some significant hearing loss in one of her ears, it is not wax and her GP thinks it is clinical deafness.

Back! Had my psychiatric appointment
For emergency use I can use diazepam, but she has also put me on pregabalin (
Lyrica
) both for anxiety and pain. I was supposed to be on it some time ago, but our PCT refused to pay for it and insisted that pain patients had gabapentin instead!

It's quiet here. Too quiet.
As for
lyrica
, I doubt it's worth giving a try. If neurontin isn't the answer, I doubt
lyrica
would be since they're so closely related.

Yet another new tablet
I think I have seen on this site before, but has any one been given
Lyrica
as an add on to all the other tablets for pain relief Has anyone taken this tablet and if so has it helped. I took one earlier and I felt very strange and I have lost a couple of hours.

VIRAL MENINGITIS Joint and muscle pain 9 months after episode- No hospital doctor can explain it. Anyone else?
I now take no drugs as they had strong side effects-
lyrica
causing mood swings and weight gain and still the aching continued. Getting in a hot pool and exercising is just as effective as pain killers.
