Med advice, I'm scared.
I've waited four months to see this new rhumetologist and he wants to put me on
Lyrica
for the pain but I've heard really awful things about it. I'm really scared. I can't go through that process again, I just can't. I'd rather be in pain.

Taking
Lyrica
and cymbalta to reduce fibromyalgia pain after giving up Nsaids. Fatigue is gone. Sleepiness persists along with feeling off balance. Shooting burning pain in left foot may be unrelated. Any advice?

I'm new here, just trying to figure this out 😀
I live with pain everyday, just had the Dr. decrease my
lyrica
from 150 mg 2x a day back to 75 mg 2x a day ! It helps with some nerve pain but not with all of the other pain ! Still waiting for my disability hearing so I can go to better Dr's once I get approved !

Hi All _ I have to come off Lýrica because it is making me feel rubbish. I have read some horror stories on this on the internet. Has anyone experience of this. Many thanks

My hep started me on
Lyrica
to see if it would help. The only thing that did was turn me into a edgy monster 😤. So, here I am again playing tag team with his staff ,& getting no answers. I just want my 43 year old self back without feeling like I'm beyond my years.

Bed sores and socks
If a doctor proscribes
Lyrica
, (The wonder pill to ease P/N). For me it didn't work nor did it work with a neighbour. Since I am not diabetic or have weight issues, I have been told to wear socks to help me to avoid bed sores on my heals and ankles or buy diabetic socks.

Neuropathic pain
Heat, like the toe is being slowly roasted, and all this is on a hefty dose of
Lyrica
. What worries me most, is the left is my "good" leg. God help me. Then again, I haven't worked since December, sat around the house. This may be a factor. Shall we all describe our neuropathic pain?

Post Operative Sciatica (both legs)
Have taken pregabalin,
lyrica
etc. I know this sounds contradictory, but I do not want any medication other than ibupofen etc. Regards, Doug.

The pain has no words!
This pain makes my damaged shoulders and back pale in comparison- the pain has no words it's just that bad, even
Lyrica
and my morphine don't stop it! The dentist told me "it will take a while yet to heal" eek! That was something I didn't want to hear with everything I have going on!...........

Newbie to this Form: Help Please?
I'm on
Lyrica
for trigeminal Neuralgia (face) and that's fine unless I miss a dose (100mg x 3 times a day) and I have Pethidine 50mg which doesn't stop the spine pain either.

Lyrica / pregabalin dozing
I was recently put on pregabalin/
lyrica
for anxiety and pain (muscle pain and headaches). According to my doctor as well as the info on the drug manufacturers site there is little evidence that a doze over 300mg should be of any benefit.

Weight loss and Lyrica
About 18 months ago I was put on
Lyrica
(pregablin) for back and nerve related pain, now my pain consultant has gradually increased it to 600mg a day and since all this started I have put on weight (this is all a shock due to me having a svelte athletic figure for years lol true!

Finally some relief!
He initially prescribed gabapentin (up to 1,800mg), which didn't work, then on to Horizant, then
Lyrica
to no avail. All the while I was still on the 4mg Neupro patch. The goal was to find a drug that worked then wean me off the patch, which was making me worse.

Medical Marijuana
I pray I can start to withdraw from
Lyrica
, baclofen, celexa, alprazolam and all other toxins I have been living on for 10 years. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to share their marijuana story. God bless to all pain sufferers!

Biotin clinical trial
I'll recommend them all, and
Lyrica
for the spasms (if you enjoy being stoned). Biotin is cheap and OTC. Worth a go.
