Hi there,My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years and have been categorised as having unexplained infertility. I have an under active thyroid and I am currently trying to get my BMI down within the accepted level in order to be able to have IVF through the NHS. My husband has had two

HRT shortages after oophorectomy
Hi everyone How is everyone coping, what have you done around the HRT shortages? For me it's the utrogestan, I paid for it back in February and was given 30 days worth (should have been 90). But they haven't had any in stock since. I am starting to get concerned about endo growing back, and how quickly

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

Mirena and Estrogen patches
Hi there, I was diagnosed with Endo at 47 (my pain was undiagnosed for years) and had an oophorectomy (1 ovary) a year later and been trying different hormone combinations since to get me through menopause. After a year on prostap injections with hrt Tibolone, which made me feel very depressed, I've

AV Node Ablation Adjustments
I had my AV Node Ablation 2 months ago with my PM set at 80 on the bottom and 100 at the top. I walk daily approximately one mile and find I need multiple stops to catch my breath. My HR goes into low 90's and I wait about 2 minutes until it goes back into the mid 80's. I had my first adjustment

Vault granulomatous Polyp
Hi everyone Thank you in advance for reading my post. As with most of us my journey has been very difficult. Following a Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy last March, which my then consultant (not a endometriosis specialist but I was still very naive about Endo) advised would “cure” my endometriosis

Worst 2 months of my life
I’m heading for my second FET tomorrow. My first ended in an ovarian ectopic in February (which apparently is very rare so trust it to happen to me) I was very unwell with it and got rushed to hospital for surgery, resulting in a partial ovary removal. I’m lucky that I have recovered ok and continued

Second opinion
Hi, I asked for a second opinion with another cardiologist following ongoing symptoms since my ablation carried out a year ago which ended up with me having a pacemaker fitted due to AV node ablation. When I made my concerns known to the cardiologist who carried out the surgery he wrote back and said

Unable to obtain MRI either NHS or through
I was watching a breaking news on SKY international channel. Rod Steward. the rock star who has been bitterly complaining of not being able to get MRI scan although he is adamant that he id prepared to pay any amount. Obviously he was advised by medics either his own G>P> or specialist. I had encountered

Seromucinous borderline ovarian tumour
Hi everyone, thanks for the nice support here in this forum. It has helped me so much. Following my laparotomy surgery last month (total hysterectomy, oophorectomy, appendectomy and omentum biopsy) I got the all clear. My frozen section and final pathology were both seromucinous borderline ovarian

Return after ovary removal?
10 years ago I had my ovaries removed after suffering from endo for several years. My quality of life improved immensely and I’ve been pretty much pain free since. I am on Kliovance HRT (1mg) and had the mirena coil fitted which is now 5 yrs old. I effectively had a medical menopause. When I had surgery
