My MO put me back on
Lupron
for six months hoping that PSA would drop to undetectable by the end of the six months. A month of Casodex 50 mg before the a
Lupron
shot brought the PSA down from 1.1 to 0.42. During the first three months the PSA dropped from 0.42 to 0.29 on October 17.

They feel its from prostate and will see after taking
Lupron
if areas shrink. I did surgery 4 years ago then a year later radiation.. Doesn’t make sense it didn’t show on psma unless its a secondary cancer?

Current ADT Recommendation
And then just 8 months after surgery things went down hill again with a BCR that turned into EBRT and
lupron
and abiraterone. Needless to say the loss of the sex life as I knew it at 53 years old has been the hugest challenge emotionally besides having the PCa.

What to do next?
At the end of a
Lupron
break in June my PSA was 1.1 and CT scan showed a new lymph node. I was put on six months of
Lupron
starting with a month of Casodex. The Casodex brought my PSA down to 0.452. After three months the
Lupron
brought my PSA down to 0.286.

Orgovyx vs. Lupron, (with Enzalutimide or Abiraterone).
However, my doctor stated that Orgovyx with a Enzo or Abi doesn’t work as well as
Lupron
with Enza or Abi. Appreciate your thoughts on whether any of you have an opinion on Orgovyx vs.

No Longer Undetectable
After surgery he was given a 6 month
Lupron
shot and that is the only treatment he has had since. Details are in my profile. He is being treated at Mayo in Phoenix and we typically see an MO, but have also seen an RO.

I wrote before that because the undesirable side effects we, together with my Onco decided to stop Zytiga/Prednisone and just continue with
Lupron
injection every 4moths.

Kidney Stones
I’m 19 months into ADT (
Lupron
) following open RP and 38 rounds of radiation last summer. All treatments or for Gleason 9 (5/4) PC that had spread outside the prostate. A few weeks ago I started getting loose bowels, incontinence and blood in my urine.

New to the forum and doing Intermittent ADT
I've been on
Lupron
for just over a year now and about to start my first "vacation". Anyone else been down this road. Advice? Concerns? Also looking to find the best supporting care in terms of diet, exercise, etc. Thanks in advance for any help. Great to be here!

Has anyone chosen SBRT despite preexisting urethritis?
Lupron
. He had a little pause when hearing about my stress induced urethral discomfort and left the decision to me. He is sending me the cheek swab test for the genomic predictor of urethral sensitivity to high dose radiation so that might help a bit. But I need more information!

periodontal side effects
Lupron
just keeps on giving unpleasant surprises. My teeth are becoming loose and I must decide on implants vs. dentures. Have others gone down this road? My dental insurance won’t pay for implants.

Estrogen vs ADT?
I've read 5 recent papers that discuss the use of estrogen as an alternative treatment to ADT (
Lupron
, etc.). The new data looks very favorable. A bit of history.
