Lupron

Started Zytiga and Lupron. Rash disappeared again!!! Coincidence?? I cant believe it was.

I'm highlighting the current treatment for those who might be interested: 5/2023 PSA of 17.1 (holding steady near that reading for the last three tests) He has been on Lupron since PR and subsequent localized radiation in 2014. When it started to fail a year ago they added Xtandi.

We were told it was not operable, so he completed 42 rounds of direct radiation and then started Lupron shots every three months, the last dose was in September 2021 I think.

That coupled with 7 years of Lupron and all the other chemo and immunotherapy drugs and side effects - I feel have cumulatively affected my mental health. I hoping to ‘level up’ my awareness and engagement, connect with the Big Why. I’m one of the 200 data points, my ‘dosing day’ is next week.

Started on triplet - Lupron, Abi & docetaxel. Due to liver issues, had to stop abi right before chemo. Restarted abi about 6 weeks after last chemo. at 500 mg, moved to 750 & then 1000, but had to go back to 750 due to high bilirubin. PSA hit low of 0.48 in mid-Jan. and has been rising since.

Since meningiomas are hormonal sensitive I wonder if the years on Lupron and Zytiga with prednisone could of caused me to get this tumor. Are there others out there that have been diagnosed with a meningioma while on or after hormonal therapy?

He has given us some options to consider, he is quite optimistic, he says husband is done with lupron taking his mind and strength. He also says there is no reason we cannot go hiking in Canada the end of Sept. We just have to get his strength back.

His current treatment plan is Lupron and Zytiga. Both MO and RO hinted radiation could help and provided two options. The first option is to go with the 1802 trial to receive full dose radiation to pelvic area if he responded well after six months in the treatment group.

He was put on Casodex/Lupron and had 39 rounds of radiation. He has been on these drugs Intermittently for 5 years. Last Oct. he became Castrate resistant with PSA climbing to 14. PSMA scan showed nothing. He is now on NUBEQA and LUPRON.

He finished chemo the end of December 2022 and has Lupron shots every six months and takes Nubeqa (darolutimide) everyday. (Triple therapy) He feels good but still deals with fatigue and shortness of breath. Your thoughts, if any? TIA ❤️

He began ADT (Lupron + Zytiga) and responded very well. His PSA went from 45 to 1.52. At that point, because is still so young and responded to the ADT so well, they decided to do complete radiation. So the bone lesion was given radiation, the prostate itself, and the lymph nodes.

I have not posted in a while I forgot my 3 month Lupron injection for 4-19. 23. I was getting 4 month injections from university of penn and I wanted to use local cancer center ! I noticed today Friday 5-14 around 8 pm. I sent email to oncologist tonight and will Call Monday!

I am resistant of the Lupron treatment my Doc is going to propose next week. Am i wrong to be concerned? Is it no big deal? I just dont want people messing w my hormones. How big a risk am i taking, if i dont do it?

Went on Lupron and Zytiga. Radiation of prostate after 8 months of ADT. I've had now 4 PET scans. The latest was yesterday, as reported below. It says now there are no mets or lymph node uptakes. My MO says there could be microscopic cancer cells lurking.

Thankfully, I've reacted great to Erleada and Lupron, with few side effects. My PSA gradually dropped from 67 to undetectable and has held there steady for three years.

Diagnosed in 2017, Gleason 10 Brachy therapy, ADT/ART. 2019 Daro plus lupron. 2021 Provenge. 12/22 Taxotere; three infusions. After first infusion, neutropenic colitis - 3 day hospital stay for intravenous antibiotic followed by 5 day oral antibiotic.

Today I had my second Lupron injection after 30 days of Casodex and Lupron. I got on my knees and thanked God for the naturopathic protocol and some conventional medicine. Thank you to all the prostate cancer fighters who have been kind and supportive.

I am undergoing ADT(Lupron, Zytiga & Prednisone) treatment for stage 4 Prostate cancer. I tested positive for Covid today so want to get guidance from this group if I need to be careful with anything in particular.

Treatment Was Casodex, Lupron and several months later chemo. That got me through nearly 4 years. Provenge thrown in for good measure. Currently on Zytiga ( 3.5 years.) PSA last month stood at 0.008. 8.5 years and counting, guess I'm lucky.

Two years now on lupron PSA still undetectable. I feel very blessed to be feeling well. I do get some of the side effects but life is what it is so just deal with it the best you can. That’s how I feel.
