enzalutamide dosing
I have ealrly stage 4 prostate cancer, have been on
lupron
for just over 4 months, and enzalutamide Xtandi for just under 4 months. Not enjoying the side effects of 160 mg I reduced my dosage to 80 mg and tolorate it a little better.

If immediately stopping after two years taking Orgovyx how long before testosterone begins to rise?
I’ve heard that testosterone returns quicker if using Orgovyx compared to
Lupron
. But I also heard that the longer on any ADT the longer the recovery. Or maybe testosterone never recovers? What do you guys think question

Possible Cure
After 2 years of
Lupron
/Zytiga, everything has shrunk or disappeared via PSMA PET. Everything has been good,(but with med side-effects) but with no measureable testosterone or PSA.

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
He's been stable since chemo with his current Eligard & Xgeva treatment--see full Profile for his record of
Lupron
, radiation, Zytiga (failed), Docetaxel at year five, followed by lifelong Eligard and quarterly Xgeva.

Castration resistant in just a year? Normal or not? Provenge in my future.
Still on
Lupron
and Nubeqa. Most of what I've read on doctor google says mCRPC takes 2-3 years to develop. Is that accurate in the group's experience. Am I just "lucky?" LOL I'm just completely bewildered in how I've gone from no indication of cancer 18 months ago to where I'm at now.

Cognition Issues
He is now on a clinical trial with NUBEQA plus
Lupron
. It brought his PSA from 14 to 4.5 and it is just setting around there for about 3 months. He just had a PSMA scan, a CT scan and an MRI all of which were NED.

anyone suffering from frequent Nausea
. + on firmagon and switched to
lupron
8 months ago. Everything stable with the stage 4 PC. Can handle the hot sweats, low energy and no libido. My biggest problem is frequent nausea . Just wondering if anyone else has the same side effect and how they deal with it.

Which studies show Degarelix safer than lupron for heart ?
I was trying to find studies online which show , as some say , that antagonists like Degarelix are safer than agonists like
lupron
for the heart but am unable to find any conclusive studies. does anyone know of any ?

Conflicting MRI vs PSMA scans
I am currently on
Lupron
and Erleada for six more months. Ive been on both for 18 months now after radiation to the one cancerous lymph node, below the illiac artery, and my entire lower lymphatic area. My questions to my good friends on this blog is this..

History Question for Tall Allen or others.
Lupron
(ADT) Trial. Sounds like good science to me but a Political Mine Field to get US FDA approval. I am surprised they even got FDA approval for the Clinical Trial. In any case I can not find any further info on the internet as to what happened in the trial or to the original drug company.

How long to Castrate Resistance: ADT+/- ARSI
They cannot report it for Enza mono as they could always add
Lupron
, and these had supra-physiologic Testosterone levels, so do not meet criteria for CR. It is an additional unmeasured possible advantage of ARSI monotherapy as it could be followed with ADT when monotherapy fails.

Feeling sore and tired
I have been on
Lupron
since the beginning, I had radiation to my prostate as well as the other four spots back in 2019. I took Xtandi for three years. After being undetectable my PSA rose slightly for about a year and a half and I had a few more spots zapped with radiation.

How high must the PSA levels be before cancer can be seen in a CT scan?
Following the end of my treatment (radiation,
lupron
, Zytiga, prednisone) with curative intent back in May, my PSA has risen from undetectable to 0.09. As discussed on another thread this is not alarming at this stage since I still have a prostate as I never had surgery to remove it.

testosterone finally moving up after Treatment.
Finally after 19 months of
lupron
and zytiga and 40 rounds of radiation my testosterone has hit 325. I do 3 month testing and it has held for 6 months. I can feel the difference and am not only doing more but my weight is falling off and glucose has a hard time going above 115.

1st Lupron shot - when do side effects kick in?
I'm bracing myself for the side effects, haha. Wife is going away for a few days and she said when she returns she expects to see me in the kitchen, baking cookies and watching reality TV. Wondering how long it will take before I feel anything...then again, I'll probably find out tonight when I roll

Hungry!!
I'm four years into stage 4,
lupron
and abi/pred doing their job well. Undetectable. My question....about a year ago I began to develop an increased appetite.. especially for sweets. Have gained about 8 pounds and find on some days I seem to be eating/snacking a lot.

paxlovid and abiraterone
He is on that, flomax and
lupron
. I know it’s better to take paxlovid before it gets much worse. We can’t reach the doctor till tomorrow, so I was just curious what you all have learned.
