Feeling type of way
She kept saying she was blessed, all she had to get was a
lumpectomy
. It made me feel feel a little jealous. I’m happy for her but it was her tone and she said it multiple times. 🤷🏽♀️

New pain in raising arm
I has a
lumpectomy
with 8 out of 9 lymph nodes cancerous removed in Feb 2017, Stage 3. Had some lymphadema afterwards that went away until about 2 months ago when my hand and fingers on that side became swollen. Did some of the exercises and it subsided.

🎶Keep Yourself Alive🎶 (apologies to Queen...)
[/i] It’s three years ago now since I had a diagnosis of cancer, leading to a mastectomy and a
lumpectomy
. As horrendous as this all was at the time, it inadvertently kick started my running, as my physio from Macmillan (the charity) made a daft suggestion about getting me running.

Need Support
So, I was put on the letrozole while I reciovered, and also as my bc was hormonal it started to reduce in size, eventually to 2cm, then, in January 2016 I had my
lumpectomy
and total ALND, I had clear margins, so the medical oncologist recommended just radiotherapy.

Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer
My MRI has shown a little more breast cancer involvement, so the specialist says treatment must be a mastectomy, not a
lumpectomy
as originally thought. Although I feel if I must trade a breast for my life, it's a done deal, I still can't believe this whole situation. I feel like it's a dream.

Extreme regular symptomatic palpitations
In 2014 I had treatable breast cancer with a
lumpectomy
Chemo and radio. That was a walk in the park compared to this! Any thoughts or experiences on these debilitating symptomatic palpitations on the smallest exertions/movements? I have been told I am NOT going to have a heart attack.

Hashimotos responses to Chemotherapy
I have had a
lumpectomy
and it hasn’t spread to lymph nodes. The hospital want to continue treating me with radiotherapy and are talking about the possibility of chemo too alongside medication to strip my body of oestrogen to stop the cancer reoccurring.

Enlarged Lymph nodes
After the excruciating biopsy they claimed it was only a possible "c" but pushed for a
lumpectomy
. That lump calcified which I've since learned is common from the damage caused by biopsies & have refused any since with the multiple auxiliary lymph gland lumps.

Experience with elevated CEA tumor marker
I had a
lumpectomy
and radiation therapy and finished treatment almost 1 year ago. I'm currently on an AI (generic Arimidex) and doing well. My new oncologist order 3 tumor markers (CA 125, 15-3 and a CEA). All were within normal limits, but my CEA was slightly elevated on 2 different times.

Breast Cancer ER/PR+ HER2- Grade3 Stage 3B
Had two unsuccessful
lumpectomy
surgeries and then a nonskin sparing mastectomy, no reconstruction . Now I’m getting ready for radiation therapy. I am also looking beyond RT and next steps. Any resources or tips?

Letrozle Been taking letrozle since June last year. I am getting joint and limb pain especially in my legs. Could this be a side effect of medication. Thanks
