Stomach trouble with antibiotics
Hi all. Just had an embarrassing and traumatic incident where I couldn’t get to a toilet in time. Is it common to have diarrhoea with some of the meds we take? I’m on incruse, ventalin, prednisalone, losartan, amlodipine and clarithromycin. This thing just keeps on giving...

Steroids
My son’s nephrologist is of the view that steroids have too many side effects and their benefits are not always evident. He is currently being treated only with Losartan for proteinuria which is stable. I recently read that steroids help in remission. I don’t want him to not get the treatment that he

A little dose advice needed after Endo visit please.
Hi all. Went to see the Endo today, not too bad a visit again. I mentioned I have a small lump on my neck but I have recently been given the all clear on an ultrasound for a lump on my arm which turned out to be a benign Limpoma so it might just be another of those. He said secondary Hyperparathyroidism

Enresto
Hello everyone, I was recently moved from Losartan to Entresto and was told it should make me feel better less likely I’d need A&E etc. Unfortunately though it seemed to make me feel worse than I did on Losartan, more breathless, lightheaded etc. I really hoped it would work for me but after few weeks

Iloprost intravenous infusion
I am struggling with secondary Reynaud's (undifferentiated connective tissue disease) and my fingers/hands are swelling so badly during flares and are causing me terrible pain. It does not seem to be related to cold weather conditions as I get it during warmer weather too. I am on Hydroxychloroquine

voice weak - sounding as if I am suffering from exhaustion- but I am not
Have heart failure - medication, Losartan, Furosemide, spironolactone, nebivolol and rivaroxaban and have a CRT-D device. For a week or probably more now, I have noticed my voice sounds as if I am exhausted - reminds me of times in the past when I have had brilliant very social and active long weekends

Hello, I've been on this site just reading posts for a long time now. I've never posted anything as I have so many issues and don't know how or where to begin. Lately I've felt so horrible that I honestly feel like giving up. I have absolutely no quality of life and don't want to suffer any longer. I'll

Ramipril - albumin in urin
Hallo; My husband has MPA (had it for one year) and has protein almost 300 mmol/l in his urin and had ramipril for half a year for too high blood preasure. For two month ago he changed to losartan because of cough. Today his protein is 600. We have read that ramipril is used to make less protein in urine

Protein in Urine.
I am diabetic for 35 years. my Bliod sugar satisfactorily maintained. Except for few fluctuations. Medication is Glimepride 1 mg in the morning. If the reading is unfavorable Metformin 500 mg added before bed. Otherwise, FBs below 115 And PP 140-180. Now the latest test shows protein +30 in urine

My DIY Cardioversion
I have had AF for 8 years and had 2 cardioversions and then a cryoablation a year ago. Since then things have settled down a bit, I think due to the bisoprolol as well as the cryoablation. I am also on Losartan and warfarin. I still occasionally get a bout of AF but the cure for me is to get on my bike

ivabradine
Does anyone take ivabradine? I am currently on Losartan, Spironolactone, Furosemide and Rivaroxaban. I was on Digoxin which I tolerated well as I can't take bisoprolol. I have researched it and wonder if anyone has suffered the side affects. Just interested as sometimes I do wonder 'why' this or that
