Hi everyone... feeling pretty dreadful right now... I was in theatre yesterday due to an infected sebaceous cyst on my back that just appeared overnight. In the last few days I had erythromycin for 3 days which severely upset my stomach followed by 6 days of clarithromycin...neither helped. Now I'm on

Advice please
Following previous posts on this forum I have now, over a few months, decreased my Ropinirole from 8 tablets per day to 1 1/2 and will be decreasing to 1 per day on the 19th August when I will begin my Pregabalin treatment as suggested by Sue. Can you give me any indication how long it will take for

Like everyone, I'm trying desperately to get my antibodies at an optimal range. I currently take 75 mcg of Tirosint and also something called T-150 by Xymogen, which my functional doc prescribed. (It's basically a bovine, multi-glandular, mineral, and herbal formula to support healthy thyroid function

What is the prognosis for someone with Graves’ disease?
Hi All, I have some questions about the prognosis for someone with Graves’ disease. How would Graves’ disease likely progress if solely treated using anti-thyroid medication such as Carbimazole? This is the route I am taking. I know it’s an autoimmune disease so there will be flareups and periods

is iodine in almond milk a problem
I’m sorry if I’m making too many posts here. I’m happy to be redirected if better. I just noticed that my almond milk says it contains iodine. Does this mean I should avoid it? I’m just trying to have a life detox of all things bad for thyroid.

Looming Endo Appointment
I had RAI in 1998 and been on Levo since 1999. Last time I saw an endocrinologist was in 99. Been on 200 initially, reduced to 175, then 150 which made me feel absolutely awful, so increased to 162.5 and feel absolutely fine. Doc stated I was overactive on this, suggested m that I reduce to 125 and we

Hi I was diagnosed with Graves disease 16 months ago. I have been on carbimazole on reducing doses and T levels were almost normal but then went up. So I am now on 15mg per day. They asked me to think about radio active iodine. I am very unsure about this. From the little I have read it can make your

Exhaustion and nausea
I have a question I hope someone may have an answer for. After 20 years of being on Pramipexole I stopped it overnight. It was not a good idea. Anyway I persevered and tried a bunch of meds - Pregabalin first, then Trazadone with Codeine, then Gabapentin. Nothing worked. This went on for a year without
