Problematic mucous & dry cough ..

Advice on codeine v tramadol
I'm hoping for some advice because my doctor and the neurologists have been no help. For the past few years I have been taking 50mg tramadol, 300mg Gabapentin and 50mg sertraline. Prior to this I managed to wean off Pramipexole. I haven't increased the dosage of any of my current meds because I had hoped

Alpro Almond Milk..... why do they do this? Any chemists have words of advice?
I stopped having cow's milk sometime ago and have been very happy using Alpro Almond milk instead. It contains Vitamins D2, E, B2 and B12 and calcium as shown in the photo. I noticed today that the packaging had changed and thought to myself "I wonder if anything else has?" So I checked. Yes indeed

pain in arms, looking for alternative to naproxen
Hi, I have been struggling with fluid retention and swollen legs for some time now. Last week my orthopaedic consultant requested that I go into hospital so they could have a good look at the wound on my left foot as it wasn't healing very well. I had been taking naproxen for arthritis and shoulder pain

struggling with pain from pacemaker and costochondritis
I had my pacemaker in 2020, it was repositioned last year as I was getting lots of pain from the left side of it , for the first few months i was pain free but gradually it’s started to cause discomfort which has now developed into pain . CT Thorax scan with iodine contrast
Hi does anyone know if it’s safe to have an iodine contrast for a CT thorax scan with Hashimotos, I’m confused if it’s good or bad with Hashimotos as I’m worried it might make my heart race. My lastest blood test results from the NHS are TSH - 0.07 (0.30 - 5.00) and T4 - 11.1 (11.5 - 22.70) and cortisol

Hi.. My daughter is age 30.. She's been having a lot of symptoms for many years.. As I have hashimoto's I figured I'd get her a private blood test. As she has. A lot of these symptoms. Her gp only tests her tsh so I thought best to get the antibody tests and T 3 done.... Surprising to me it has come

Comments On Blood Test Results Please
I don't post very often but I read a lot on here, and after having a Blue Horizon full thyroid blood test, I would be interested in the thoughts of anyone on what came out of it. I had radioactive iodine some years ago and am on levothyroxine (100mg). My results from the GP always come back as 'normal

T3: the devils doing

You will have read that at the time, despite my almost blind faith in the GP and Endo (and their proposed care path), I had my reservations: I felt my condition had settled under the long use of
