Up date on my ast elevation.
I want to let you know that my liver enzymes went back to normal. My ct scan is normal as well—no liver damage. It must have been the cinnamon and the cinnamon capsules that I took to lower my prediabetes that caused my enzymes to elevate so fast. Thank you all for the support. Sincerely, Jenny

Bad nausea
Hi everyone I've been on Urso now for about 1 month and have started with quite bad nausea waves throughout the day. I take mine in the evening about 8pm with food so I don't know if it's the Urso or the liver itself. Also have started peeing more. Have to admit this is worrying me now and an still

Previous platelets...
Just looking back through my medical records and I noticed a blood test I had done for unrelated reasons to my liver(all LFTs etc normal) in 2015,my platelets were at 138k. That’s what they are now? Could I just have low platelets then? Interesting.......

I've been blessed
On 2/22/22, I received an anonymous live donor kidney transplant. I was totally blown away but so very grateful for this gift. I will be forever thankful and appreciative for this opportunity to give back and support others on their journey. My only regret is that I will not be able to personally thank

Cheerful news
I have posted a few times before with questions. Today is a cheerful post. I have decompensated cirrhosis with varices and ascites. I had a stint in rehab in January which I actually enjoyed quite a lot of (it cost a lot though) I was on 6-8 weekly gastroscopies, usually with banding because of two life

Hello
What's going on? Eventually got a fibroscan on Monday 11/4/22 after badgering my doc as I have just cleared hep c but no follow up. Just a telephone call to say I was clear. This is, of course, brilliant news. However I have been carrying the virus for 35 years. I am 53 now and have symptoms related

CT Scan unable to diagnose Liver Haemangioma vs malignant Tumours?
Can any kind folks help me out on this? I had some stomach pain issues and went for an endoscopy back in Nov 2021. The doc found Gastritis but also asked me to do an ultrasound. I did and they found a mass on my liver. Doc asked me to go for a CT scan with IV contrast of the abdominal. The results came

Biliary Atresia
My daughter had a Kasai procedure a little over a month ago. We noticed today her stool went from bright yellow to pale cream. No temperature, normal appetite and very active. GGT levels fluctuate from 252 to 180 to 352. Could GGT be a factor? Anybody else have experienced a similar case? Did you require

Covid -19, still a big risk for some - 2.
My wife Lyn a
liver
transplant
patient, having been double vaccinated caught COVID about the 1st September and passed away on the 14th. This was devastating as we all thought she had a degree of immunity as per the correspondence and references to websites we had.

Refusing Lung Transplant
A few weeks ago my wife's neurologist put her forward for consideration for lung transplant surgery. After consideration, my wife has declined as she feels it represents a great deal of change to her life, in which she is quite content. I go along with her wishes but wondered if this was a decision made

Diagnosis Cirrhosis
Finally after 5 years of back and forth for labs I've been diagnosed with stage 1 cirrhosis no ascites, but I'm confused why doctors put energy into finding out but none into any type of treatment while it's still early!

Low kidney function
My husband ckd his kidneys are at 18% and his kidney dr has told him she wants a face to face appointment next week and he's waiting for a urgent scan on them, dr has told him he may need to weigh up the options ,does that mean a transplant or dialysis

Drug induced cirrhosis
My hurt is that if the hospital had listened and investigated my mum could have been put for a
liver
transplant
urgently but wasn’t offered anything until after 6 months because they assumed it was alcohol related. Within these 6 months she sadly got worse and so did her liver with 0 alcohol.

High GGT&GPT, Nafld? Aih?
Hi all, found this forum lately, I'm from Germany, and I hope you can help me a bit out. All started December 2020, when I did a regular check up at age 35. Being 1,70m and 90kilos at that time. I'm male. Drank no alcohol at all for more than 5 years, and before that drank no more than 1 or 2 beers per
