Hey liver sufferers and cirrhosis haters! Beat that 🤪 for healthy..🤣. What a mixed day I have a phone call appointment with the consultant about some issues with my liver. I need to grab some copper tube to install a first fix for a shower and try to find a cricket ball for my nephew. Beat that as

LIVER PAIN?
I'm getting weird dull aches under my ribs on the right side. I read that liver doesnt have nerves so you cant get pain from it. Is that true? Could the ache be my inflamed liver pushing against my ribs or damage like fibrosis from inside my liver. I'm sorry to bother you with it but you all seem to

Cod liver oil
I want to take cod liver oil to help my arthritis but am worried it might affect my acid reflux. Has anyone taken it and had any positive or negative effects on their acid reflux?

Alpha1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and liver fibrosis
My daughter was diagnosed with Alpha1 Antitrypsin deficiency at 8 weeks old she is now 6 and was doing really well until her most recent appointment, we have been told that she now has fibrosis of the Liver. We are just awaiting her blood results for a plan to be put in place. I was just wondering if

Normal scans, mostly normal blood tests. Can you still have HE?
I have had abnormal LFTs for 2.5 years (that I know of - no tests before). Normal ultrasounds x4, normal HIDA, normal CT scan, normal fibroscans x2 showing F0 and approx 240 CAP. An MRCP showed sludge when I was pregnant. I went and got my gallbladder out which showed chronic cholestasis but nothing

Question for those who have pkd and had a transplant
Hello I am on the waiting list for a kidney transplant and the meantime trying to do all I can to find a live donor. I get quite a lot of back pain with my polycystic kidney . I was wondering for those who had a transplant did your back pain ease at all. I know a transplant isn’t a cure for the disease

She had severe lung disease (PPFE) and was waiting for a double lung transplant. 3 hospitals were looking at her xrays and scans , the Sussex

Your body is incredible. How connected to that are you?
Our bodies are incredible. They're always replenishing through a complex interplay of cell death & new cells. For me, having had a total of 10.5 years on dialysis, 7 of those as a teenager & two kidney transplants, there are so many ways to integrate, heal & remember our inner strength. Yoga is one

Hello everyone, my name is Scott, I'm 46 and I'm new here, I have some questions regarding what has been happening with me over the past (almost 6 months) period. I was a heavy drinker for many years leading a stressful life with work etc. My mum passed away in 2019 and that then led me down a deeper
