Cheerful news

I have posted a few times before with questions. Today is a cheerful post. I have decompensated cirrhosis with varices and ascites. I had a stint in rehab in January which I actually enjoyed quite a lot of (it cost a lot though) I was on 6-8 weekly gastroscopies, usually with banding because of two life threatening bleeds. On Tuesday they told me the good news, now pn annual gastroscopy and stomach and duodenum look "normal!!!!!! Not heard that word for a few years. All small steps down a long road. Now to get the rest of my body in better shape......

Fantastic news. Well done. It’s amazing what our bodies are capable of if we treat them well. Happy Easter!
