Hello and Seeking Medication change
I'm 71 and been treated for spells of depression ( varying antidepressants) for coming up to 40 years. Relatively recently I realised I was probably bipolar 2 and saw a psychiatrist who confirmed this and prescribed Depakote ,in addition to the Venlafaxine and Mirtazapine i was already taking. Since

Insomnia during second pregnancy
I'm about 24wks into my second pregnancy - 18m post PPP with my first baby. I'm well other than being tired but I can't sleep! Or I can, but for short bursts (say an hour or two). It doesn't help that toddler and work means I can't nap when I'm tired but even when I should sleep I'm just - awake. I don't

Trying to understand weight gain- implant? Lithium?
In January 2012, I started taking lithium to treat bipolar disorder, after about seven years of depression and then a year or so of depression and manic periods. The dosage started out small but eventually went up to 1000mg a day. At the same time I had a contraceptive implant put in. Since then, my

It was decided by ICU Doctors to be caused by long-term use of
Lithium
Carbonate
. Went on Levothyroxine 125mcg ( this maintained a +/- 1.06 TSH level) and after a few months things started to level out.

Hello everyone. I'm very new here. I've been looking online for information on PP for a while and only just found this. I hope you can give me some advice. I suffered from PP in early December 2014. I went through all the usual symptoms and was eventually sectioned when my little girl was 9 days old

Trauma/sleep deprivation/help falling asleep
In 2013 I was assaulted till unconscious by 5 men , then taken against my will shortly after and having to escape. I had always had small bouts of insomnia or trouble sleeping like anyone would about things like school or work worries. After the assault It didn't seem like it phased me, or at the time

When to take zinc, selenium supplements
I take my thyroid meds in the morning when I wake up, along with my antidepressants, my vitamin B complex tablet and my pill. I take my vitamin B12 and vitamin D with my breakfast, a couple of hours after I get up. I take my ferrous fumarate supplement before going to bed, along with 1000mg vitamin C
