Getting oneself in a state!!
Hi everyone I know I’ve asked advice regarding
leflunomide
before and it would appear I’m probably getting myself in a bit of a state about something that’s as straight forward as the taking of all other medication!

What next? RA
The consultant has said the next options are
leflunomide
or a biologic. He said there is probably not much point trying
leflunomide
given my reaction to the other 2. Has anyone been in this situation. It is quite stressful wondering what next.

Sero positive consultant tells me it's most aggressive and I will flare soon ☹️☹️☹️
I came away with two leaflets on Sulfasazine and
Leflunomide
. As soon as I flare I am to call to request a prescription ? Please may I ask for any of your thoughts? I've been reading tonight about Sero positive and it's quite common to get vasculitis - scaring myself to death here.

Next round
I picked up my
Leflunomide
today and I’m thinking of starting it tomorrow- albeit, with some trepidation. My question is, how is it best taken, on its own or can I take it the same day as my methotrexate ( due tomorrow )? Any advice will be greatly appreciated . Marie

I have come off
Leflunomide
, due to upset tummy so the plan is firstly to put my on amitriptyline, mainly to help me sleep but to also ease aches and pains and also azathioprine which I am a little more concerned about. Any comments or advice would we welcome.

Can't believe it
Just in from seeing the Rheumy and after 6 years of various combinations my inflammation levels are right down It seems Tocizilumab, hydrochloquine and
leflunomide
is the combination for me. I'm so delighted !!!!! He says he's gonna use my inflammation chart as a teaching aid !

Shortness of breath?
My RA is still active since I just was diagnosed over the summer and have only been on
Leflunomide
about 6 weeks. I’ve been having shortness of breath this last week. It feels like I’m not taking deep enough breaths, when I’m just sitting there. I then breath deep.

Leflunomide
He says he wants to try
Leflunomide
if I haven't got down to 10mg pred. I've just got to 10.5 but struggling. Anyone else been offered this? Also Alendronate is being put forward which I am really worried about. I am on Adcal D3 but have never had a Dexa scan.
