Following me visit with my rhuemy last week, I was prescribed
leflunomide
, on top of the Mtx, enbrel and all else I take. He had now called to say that I’ve to stop the enbrel and will begin secukinumab. These are two drugs I’ve not experienced. Is anyone able to advise how they are ?

Leflunomide query?
Could not tolerate sulfasalazine, had awful rash with hydroxychloroquine, now going to start
leflunomide
. Just hoping for something positive about this as I'm really not looking forward to more horrible side effects.

Methotrexate injections and side effects
If I can't resolve this I'll have to swap to
Leflunomide
which I'm reluctant to take due to its long half life. Due to my past history with drugs, I'm concerned that I'll also have side effects if I change and don't like the idea of a washout.

He prescribed
leflunomide
. Feeling a little fed up, if honest. He wanted me to try this as a way of delaying more surgery if possible. He says the surgery is inevitable but because I've had so much over the past two years, to delay it, if possible is best. I also had IM steroid injection (sore!!)

Miserable
I'm on
Leflunomide
and 10mg of prednisone for another week until I drop down to 5mg until I see him. I woke up the last two nights in horrible pain. Am I being too optimistic about getting better? It's only been maybe a month since I started the

Leflunomide
Hi, I've just started on 20mg
leflunomide
feeling very sickly and lightheaded but really want to find something that works for me and would be grateful for any advice or anyone else's experience with this drug. I've already tried methotrexate then sulfasalazine but struggle with the side effects.

Avara(leflunomide)
Hi all, I was taking methotrexate and it made me sick and I lost at least 2days out of the week trying to recover from a dose, so the docs want me to start Avara....can anyone tell me if they tried this drug and what side effects I can look forward to? Thanks. Izabela

Leflunomide... experiences?
Rheumy suggesting I switch to
leflunomide
. I read the side effects online. It seems more daunting than the mtx. Please if any of you have experiences you can share with me, good or bad, are welcome.

Opportunity to take part in a Clinical Trial of a new RA medication- sites in London, Southampton, Oxford and Cardiff
Are being treated with at least one conventional Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic drug (e.g. methotrexate, sulfasalazine, hydroxychloroquine and /or
leflunomide
). You would need to be able to travel to London, Southampton, Oxford or Cardiff, taking part about 10 times over about 20 weeks.

Leflunomide?
He started me on 20mg of
Leflunomide
. I don't see that medication very often on the board. Does anyone else take it? He also gave me 15 days of prednisone (15mg for 5 days, then 10mg, then 5mg).

Tiredness
I have come off sulfasasazine and am on
leflunomide
10mg for the past 6weeks. Also on mtx, 20mg codeine 60 mg per day if needed. Hydroxychloroquine and sertraline 50g per day. I thought I would try using pro plus to see if it stops the fatigue.

I am so frustrated I could spit nails...
The new one is calling my symptoms "referred pain" from LORA and/or osteoarthritis, and is pushing methotrexate,
leflunomide
or plaquenil while reducing pred. (I'm never going to take the first 2 suggested. Not ever.)

Just wondering!?!
Since January this year I've been doing really well, and slowly slowly reducing and at present I'm between 4 1/2 and 4 mg pred, but also take 20mg
Leflunomide
. My CRP and ESR so far this year have been the best they've ever been, but the last blood test showed them as being on the rise again.
