Another MTX question
End of march I was given
leflunomide
, took about 5/6 weeks to get into system and suffered with flare-ups in the meantime. The Lef didnt work as well as the MTX so in about July was given hydroxychloroquine but that disagreed with me severely and stopped it after a couple of weeks.

Osteoarthritis
I am know on
leflunomide
and had a list of things that are happening to me but didn't get anywhere talking them through. I am now feeling deject and peed off. I don't know what to do. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm thinking of jacking all the meds and finding another route.

Some gain!
Now I'm not sure if it's this or the
leflunomide
kicking in but I am certainly a lot better in the mornings and pretty constant all day. The only thing I have a problem with this new regime is sleep is pretty poor!

leflunomide (arava)
Ok - I went for my second visit and the Dr put me on the above. I opted for this instead of the one that starts with an M as I am allowed to have some wine on this drug. I wish I had not read on the internet all the things I did. Hair falling out, no eyebrows. Has anyone had good results with this

Blue badge?
On methotrexate,
Leflunomide
and steroids. I don't claim any benefits, but have found the badge so useful as I can join in so much more with things, even on my worst days. I am worried that I will lose this as if I am seen on a day where I am not struggling so much.

Advice please
I have only just started on the
leflunomide
so don't expect any benefit for the first 6 weeks! I am in less pain than when I was without preds so at least that's something. I am signed off for a month from work which is just as well as that would be a real struggle.

Leflunomide
Know I'm on
leflunomide
. I'm having loads of side effects so I've been told to take a week off of it. It was really bad last week when depression set in and I felt suicidal for a couple of days. Blood tests are all in range apparently.

Drugs for RA
When first diagnosed was put on Methotrexate which I took with great results from September 2014 to January this year, I had developed a cough so they stopped the mtx and after a big flare up in March (I wasnt on any drugs for RA) they put me on
leflunomide
, which I have been on since.

Hair loss
I am on
leflunomide
and hyrochloxcloroquine for rheumatoid arthritis. Noticed yeterday that my hair seems thinner and I have had lots of hair coming out in the brush too. But did not really think much of it. But I can see a considerable difference on the thickness of my hair and it is worrying.

Whipple Operation
I was on
Leflunomide
for 1 year. My RA clinic have not been in touch to ask how I am or if I have pain but since I have now reacted to ALL DMRDs I will not be allowed anything that affects my liver or damages it. Has anyone else had a Whipple's as I have tried to search but no RA patients.

Rotten cold. Feeling groggy.
And being as I am.on
leflunomide
and hyrochloxcloroquine for arthritis and blood pressure tabs as well as watching my cholesterol I worry about what you can take. A friend recently mentioned a vitamin supplement called echinacea. But I just read about it and it's meant to help the immune system.

Do I take my leflunomide when I have a cold?
I was already told to stop my mtx because of high blood sugars, but I didn't take my
leflunomide
today just in case. Also, should I be expecting any immediate effects from not taking the mtx? Thank you dearfolk. I will keep my germs safely on this side of the screen. Bats

Forward unto Enbrel
This makes
leflunomide
the last failed DMARD I needed to apply for coverage for biologics. I don't remember the name of the other choice she offered, but I remembered seeing much positive about Enbrel, so that's what I picked.

Hells
My sugars were very well in hand before I started the
leflunomide
, but they aren't any more. I've been referred to a diabetic specialist, but I am completely unwilling to screw around with my epilepsy control. Been there, hated that.
