Should I take BP meds?
My blood pressure puzzles me, I'd be grateful for advice. I brought my home monitor into the room I was sitting in and took my bp about half an hour later, it was 158/85. I didn't panic, did about a minute of deep breaths then took it again 3 times, readings were 120/72 then 116/70 and finally 114/69

ULTRASOUND RESULTS - THERE IS A NODULE WHICH IS PAINFUL - CAN ANYONE HELP?
Hello everyone Apologies at the outset because this is long but I am very worried and would be very grateful to anyone who reads this and can advise me. I had an ultrasound scan of my thyroid gland last Tuesday. My thyroid antibodies have never been out of range - my last test in March this year

Hashimoto's and LDN
Hi, I have read that Low Dose Naltrexone is a good treatment for LDN, but that it is controversial and it is difficult to get a prescription in the UK. Does anyone have nay experience of getting this drug, are GPs hostile, or open to try it ? Thanks John

Two Months on Acalabrutinib - Still Underwhelming
Just finishing my second month on Acalabrutinib. I’m not complaining and I’m not upset. Just wanted to let people on w&w (I was on w&w for almost 7 years) know what one “path” might look like. The good news is that my serum LDH is normal for the first time in 5 years and my platelet count (131) is creeping

Question about LDH
Hello, fellow mpn friends, I have post Et Mf and my hematologist has been checking my LDH levels at each check-up for the last year and a half. The last 2 times this test didn’t show up. I asked the lab tech after the first time and she said my results were hemolyzed and they couldn’t get a reading.

Is there a link between low HDL cholesterol and low vitamin D?
Hello everyone, I recently had some blood test done (quite a few!) and the most of the results were fine but my HDL and 25-hyroxyl vitamin D were low. I've been supplementing with Vitamin D3&K2 for almost a year, and after initially rising from 8 to around 40, it hasn't improved. I still have fatigue

AMG Clinical Trial Update
I have been silent since the end of January. Not just on the board. I am not sure why I clammed up, but I decided the roller coaster was too much for my family. Also, I have been having trouble processing my thoughts on the clinical trial. The COVID positive from January 11, turned into a 4-week interruption
