Not wanting to scare anyone but this is my story.......
I still struggle to go to the toilet and am on
Laxido
every day plus I get bloated and have to take Dulcolax every month or so because I still get constipated. My symptoms are very confusing to say the least! I'm currently under the pain management team at my local hospital.

GP appointment - mixed result
She has prescribed me something to help the constipation called
Laxido
. Not sure if this is a well known medication or not for constipation but I said I'd give it a go. I moved the blood test for thyroid to Friday this week as I just want it over with.

Urgent Cipro Question :-/
Anyway, this week I ended up with a completely obstructed (and very painful) bowel - the doctor said I had no infection (after a very brief glance at a urine stick) and prescribed
Laxido
which did clear the blockage after a couple of days but the pain in my right kidney got worse.

I'm wondering whether anyone has suffered with the same problem as me? I have abdominal pain and constipation.
They have put me on
laxido
- I an pooing if I take it but the stools are very narrow or come out in loose plops. I haven't done a normal poo since all this began. I am taking pain killers which take the edge of the abdominal pain but don't take it fully away.

Stage 4 and running out of options
I am taking fybogel and
laxido
but they are not helping. Has anyone else been in this situation? Did you press for the surgery? Has it improved? Sorry I don't post on here very often but really would appreciate your experiences as I don't really know where to turn. Thanking you all in advance x

At the end of my tether...
Once I realised I hadn't poo'd for a week, so the doctor gave me
Laxido
to take when I needed. I was also taking ibuprofen, which sometimes helped, sometimes not. So in January i went to see my gynae. I told him that the episodes were getting more and more frequent, the pain was getting worse.
