Undiagnosed 10+ years, any advice/tips?
I’m now back on
laxido
, on a gluten free, dairy free, mostly plant based shall I say diet. I’ve spent 100’s in the past month or two on foods. On week 4/5 of Symprove.

When do I lower the dose of laxido?
My almost 18 month old son has been withholding his stools for quite some time and constipation is something we’ve been dealing with what feels like forever. He is on 2 sachets a day and has 1-2 stools a day. They fill the nappy and are very sloppy like cow pat. He’s not straining to pass these and he

Movicol or laxido affect mood
I have to take movicol daily but I think it affects my mood. I find I get very agitated from around 6am and feel upset and anxious. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Not sure if it makes everything empty too much and then I’m having blood sugar issues/hunger. Thank you.

Poo withholding 6 year old
Doctor has given is
Laxido
/Movicol so he gets around 2 sachets a day. More if he's not been for a few days. We've also had regular appointments with CAMHS. Mental Health service. We're assured the methods we use are correct and to keep going with what we are doing.

Fybogel (osmotic laxative) vs Laxido/Movicol (osmotic laxative) ?
Anyone got experience with fybogel and
laxido
/movicol for long term? With fybogel it seems it takes a while to get working (compared to 6+ hour for other types).

Medication mixes
We recently changed to both Pico sulfate, and
Laxido
, and he is now wetting almost every night. Does anyone know if it will be the new medication conflicting with the Desmo melts? Many thanks.

That was horrific
He has
laxido
every day and isn't constipated but I am in the process of upping his sachets to make him go as he hasn't done a proper poo since Monday 13th. (He's had 2 poo accidents in pants.)

What to take for IBS constipation?
I am thinking of returning to Normacol one dose after lunch and a
Laxido
before bed. Any thoughts on that policy! Thanks Ian

Post-hysterectomy
I was prescribed
laxido
on discharge to help get the bowels moving, but I'd highly a stool softener alongside, like lactulose, or it will still seem impossible! 2) Massive pants and pj's/leggings are a must!

Two Year Old, toilet problems for last year
Went back to the GP who confirmed they couldn’t feel any backlog anymore but to continue a maintenance dose of the
laxido
which we have done.

Hip, groin & pelvic pain
I have been discharged from gynachology because she’s saying it’s constipation but I know it isn’t because I got
laxido
and have been going very regularly and the pain has not got any better not even slightly better since 2 weeks of taking it.

Constipation and nausea with no appetite
She is on
Laxido
and the last 2 days she’s seems to be clearing out but still not eating till late in the day. So wondering if anyone else’s child has gone off their food when constipated and taking
Laxido
. I’m so worried about her loosing more weight as she’s already very thin .

Going downhill, need to apply the brakes.
Trying to time senokot (
laxido
not that useful) so that I can evacuate enough at night to get some rest as it’s impossible to sleep through discomfort of the alien like thing sitting in there. I so desperately need restful sleep to give me strength.

Moribund Digestive system
My dear wife is in late stage and now I find that her once regular habits have become anything but and she now experiences bloating and some pain, we are making increased use of
Laxido
. Is this a facet of the condition or should we look further?

My 4yr old son was born with his bowels on the outside, he's been on movicol/

for 3 years and senokot for the past year. Nothing seems to work, we have a good month or so then it goes downhill.

Non flavoured Macrogol on the NHS dispensary?
Hi all, Dad has been prescribed Macrogol by his specialist however he can’t tolerate the flavour of Molaxole or
Laxido
even with cordial. I’ve bought DulcoEase Hydrate power which I can mix with his tea but I’m not sure you can get Macrogol flavourless like this on the NHS.

How long can I use Senokot for my 3 year old ?
He is stool withholding and we went to
Laxido
a half a sachet per day and Senokot every day 5 ml and it seems to make him go regularly. We are to see a specialist in September. I’m just worried about Senokot and overusing it etc. Please help .
