Hi been on laxido for a year now I suffer from chronic constipation I havent been diagnosed yet having to wait since February to see a gastro doctor to be diagnosed. I'm really relying on these laxatives every time I go and see a doctor they tell me they are safe to use long term worried I'm getting very reliant on them is anybody else in this situation and have they been told the same thank you.

I had CT scan it showed mild divertitar, I had constipation for 5 days Gp gaive Laxido its worked over 3 ish day I'm ok now , Gp said it 100% safe .I wouldn't like to have to take it all the time, hope they sort you get ..I kept ringing them up to speak the the gastroentorlogist it worked ..I waiting for colonoscopy & endoscopy anytime shortly..Hassle them its your right ..it worked for me as said .

Hi Utrvevaj. Iv been taking laxatives for over 17years, Iv also been told I will be on them for life. With my condition I just can’t go without them so for me taking them long term is a way safer option then not taking them. This may be the same for you but until you have a diagnosis you won’t really know. I hope you get an answer soon xx
It’s an osmotic laxative which is safe to take long term , don’t worry it just pushes things along and is perfectly safe , just be glad it works
When is the best time for you to take it.. I find if I take it just before bed I have horrid wind during the night😒
No just two one in morning and one in evening . If I just take one a day it takes a long time to work.
