Non flavoured Macrogol on the NHS dispensary?

Hi all,

Dad has been prescribed Macrogol by his specialist however he can’t tolerate the flavour of Molaxole or Laxido even with cordial.

I’ve bought DulcoEase Hydrate power which I can mix with his tea but I’m not sure you can get Macrogol flavourless like this on the NHS.

All/ any advice much appreciated.

Movicol and cosmocol come flavourless.

Movicol has a flavourless option. It does state on the box that it contains Lemon & Lime flavour but I never notice any flavour in it at all. He can call the pharmacy and ask for an alternative to what he gets though. 😍

you can get Movicol flavourless but despite me always asking for "plain" - and it being on the notes from my surgery - the dispensary nearly always give me orange flavoured! If I challenge this they say it is harder to get the unflavoured and they have to order it in specially
