How do you keep busy mentally, physically, socially etc... to help manage loneliness, self-worth?
This has been a big test of of character I’m sure for all of us. I’ve tried to find ways to stay active mentally and all other ways to beat depression, loneliness and self-worth! What do you do on good days? On bad days? On good days, I try and do the things I love! I listen to music, sing along!

Essential oils & other don’ts
Soooo I decided to rub a bit of essential oils I had for my birthday into my pulse points as I wanted a good night’s sleep......googled it after I put it on (something just came into my head that I shouldn’t have used them) and yes low and behold not to be used in pregnancy. Tried to wash it off and

Carrying medication n 'Hold' or 'Hand' luggage.
All you jetsetters...for medication do you suggest 'Hold' or 'Hand'? Meds not needed throughout the journey from A to B, only during our holiday stay and all are oral. Ok the list is: Methotrexate, Folic Acid, Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate, Ferrous Fumerate, Tranexamic Acid, Liquifilm Artificial Tears

Fully emptying bowel and toilet training
Hi, I would be so grateful to anyone with any advice on the below. My son is 3 years 3 months old. He suffers from multiple food allergies and about 3 months ago we finally got his issue diagnosed of stool withholding. I kept thinking it was his diet but his stools were often soft. He definitely suffered

Beneficial supplements?
I was diagnosed with advanced PC with several mets to the pelvic bone, in June 2018. So far, in my short experiences with doctors, they are concerned generally about supplements that may negatively interact with my new hormone therapy (Elligard with Zytiga+prednisone). I have been on this therapy for

RELIEF FOUND
Hi everyone, This is my own case story. I amazingly found relief to my pain, but have fewer medical problems than many of the people on this site: I am 44 years of age, have always had excruciating periods since the age of 12 years (more painful than labor contractions), and have been through 2 c-sections

Use of Essential Oils to help feel better
Well guys, I have been rolling away on my pulse points using
lavender
& chamomille for calm/sleep at night and orange and peppermint
oil
for energy during the day. I must say tho, it helped the recovery process a lot for me.

Essential oils for tremors
My main symptom is tremor which as is widely known is the most difficult symptom to control. Inspired by a post on this forum, I recently started using the essential oils Vetiver and Helichrysum, mostly at night, and they actually seem to be helpful. I have no previous experience with essential oils

Morning Anxiety
I woke up feeling anxious. I start a new job Tuesday and just feel nervous and a little anxious about it. Change is not easy for me. My anxiety is worse in the mornings. I meditate and use essential oils.

Fish Oil - Little Benefit
There was a news item on the BBC (I cannot post link on my dumb phone) that said researchers had found there was no real evidence that fish oil was beneficial to the heart. Indeed it was taken off prescription years ago. There does, however, seem to be benefits to general health from Omega 3 if not specifically

Question about essential oils, and Epsom salt.
I haven't used the Epsom salt yet, but have used the
lavender
oil
, peppermint tea, and Himalayan crystal salt lamp. They may me very calm and happy, but the thoughts of me possibly getting ALS are still there. Obviously, I don't fear them at all, but they still somewhat bother me.

How to get Lorenzo's oil?
Hello everyone I have 10 year son who is suffering with ALD, and I'm in Virginia. I've been told that Lorenzo's Oil doesn't work. But me as a mom would like to try anything that may help. How is it possible to obtain the oil.
