Hello all... Again Has anyone on here currently use or have tried essential oils to remedy things like sluggishniss, fatigue, sleepless/restless nights, headaches and just feeling terrible and dont no how to pinpoint what your feeling?? especially after having surgery (like an ablation and so forth)... Well guys, I have been rolling away on my pulse points using lavender & chamomille for calm/sleep at night and orange and peppermint oil for energy during the day. I must say tho, it helped the recovery process a lot for me. One of my side effects of the propaferone 225 mg (3 times daily) is unusual dreams and anxiety (panic attacks out of nowhere) but I find that using the oils calmed me down a lot and have made me feel a bit uplifted. So I just wanted to share with you guys to maybe try and hopefully it helps.................

Hi Flo2pen I use pure oil of lavender on a tissue on my pillow . I feel it helps me to feel calm.
What a great idea! You’ve reminded me that I used to have a lavender bag under my pillow, and essential lavender oil on a tissue on my bedside table. I absolutely loved the smell as it relaxed me to sleep.
But once I started having to use a CPAP machine with nose mask (for obstructive sleep disorder) I couldn’t smell the benefits, sadly, so I stopped. You’ve made me think it might be nice to scent the room anyway though...
Oh my goodniss JaneFinn I go do my sleep study at the lab this weekend so I hope i wont have to use a CPAP machine.... Geezzz that would not be good I will definately then have to figure out a way to incorporate the lavender scent in my room.
Oh I really hope you don’t have to use a CPAP machine then! (But if you did need it, it would help you sleep sooo much better and keep you safe, so you’d grow to appreciate it greatly 😊)
Actually though, on reflection, I DO think a lavender scent will permeate the CPAP somehow. Because whenever I’m staying away with my CPAP, I breathe in a different air and it has a distinctive room smell. So I bet your lovely scents would still be doing their magic 😊
Do let us know how you get on with the sleep study x
JaneFinn since you use the sleep mask at night.. get you a lavender and chamomille roller ball and use it on your wrist and pulse points.. it has the same effect I find as if you were inhaling it k... lemme no how it works out for you...
Yes,I use lavender oil, neat on tissue under pillow, roll on bottle in handbag, eucalyptus for cokds andcstuffed up nose, rose geranium for gloom. If no use medically, makes me feel better and being positive can only be good news!
Yassss wilsond.. you have you a collection lol and so do I. I agree with you 100 percent. if no use medically... it really helps me to feel better and uplifting throughout the day as well... am doing a sleep study this weekend, sure hope I wont have to use a CPAP machine cause then I probably wont be able to smell anything at night.
