Zalkya side effects
Hello, I have stage 4 severe endo and just come out of recovery from my
laparoscopy
. My Specialist has pescribed me Zalkya. It’s a new drug, available since 2020 in the UK. I can’t find much on Google regarding side effects and if it’s worth taking.

Does endometriosis always show up in laparoscopy?
Does endometriosis always show up on a
laparoscopy
? I had my lap done yesterday. Three docs I went to presumed endometriosis. One did a physical and an internal exam, felt scar tissue, did a smear. The second did the same but had to stop my smear as it was too painful.

I’m new and looking for advise - 14cm and 8cm bilateral ovarian endometrioma cysts
We have touched on a
laparoscopy
and my doctor has mentioned with them being so large it might not be possible and a full incision might have to be made, although I’m trying not to stress over that until we know more!

That was strange but I do like a plan
In the three and a half years since we started running we completed C25K, we completed Ju Ju’s magic plan timed version and ran for an hour, we started the distance version and winter came so went to running less often, we started Garmin 10k plan, got to 8k and realised our legs just ached, all the time

Natural remedies without lap…
Just wondered if anyone has any experience / recommendations of things that have helped reduced their endo symptoms naturally? Would love to be able to manage this better without having to put more stress on my body with a lap surgery…

Laparoscopy says no endo
I had the lap two months ago, it revealed 3 dermoid cysts on ovaries but no endo. I'm still in agony with endo symptoms. The GP says she's sending me for an emergency ultrasound, but do they even show endo? I had an MRI last year and they said I do have endo, then I had the lap and they said I don't

Pain worse when ill (cold/flu)
hello! I am on the waiting list for a diagnostic lap to check for endometriosis which I do have a lot of the symptoms for. I’m currently under the weather with a pretty bad cold. But my endo symptoms seem to be worse while I’m ill. I’m in so much pain which is radiating around my back and into my legs

Bleeding while on dienogest
Hi everyone I have just gone through a
laparoscopy
to remove a large cyst (>7cm) and lesions through ethanol scleratherapy (new method that avoids the excision from ovary, had to do it in France).

Hello, I am due to have my first
Laparoscopy

Deep Endometriosis - Do I get a referral now to the Endo centre or wait a little longer?
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had been through something similar or could offer any advice? It’s a bit of a long one. So I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis following my lap at the beginning of August, and given the POP to help control my pain symptoms that were absolutely ruling

Fallopian tubes tethered to bowel (adhesion post laparoscopy for PID) Is surgery the only option?
Fallopian tubes tethered to bowel. Can they free up with time or is surgery the only option? My consultant says that surgery is risky due to possible damage to the bowel. Colostomy bag for life isn’t a great prospect, but neither is infection in my abdomen and Fallopian tubes. Anyone experienced this

Hi everyone! My husband was prescribed Leaquin after stent replacement. I forgot the equal antibiotic that you all recommended and tried to ask the doc but he looked at me like I was just plain old stupid! Feeling tired and frustrated, sitting here with this prescription in my lap. Thankyou to all

In two minds as what to do?
I am booked in for a
laparoscopy
in August, as they think it could possibly be endo, since getting the letter I am starting to doubt myself as to whether to proceed with it? And I’m absolutely worried at the thought that they might not find something, would you recommend to still have it done?
