I had the lap two months ago, it revealed 3 dermoid cysts on ovaries but no endo.
I'm still in agony with endo symptoms. The GP says she's sending me for an emergency ultrasound, but do they even show endo?
I had an MRI last year and they said I do have endo, then I had the lap and they said I don't.
What do I do if the ultrasound reveals nothing. I can't carry on like this. GP putting me back on nortriptoline for pain but that didn't do much last time.

I hope this reply will get you some more useful replies. Are you being treated in general gynae or in a specialist endo centre? I have been told it is possible for it to not show on MRI but be found in a lap, but I haven't heard the other way around, unless the surgeon doesn't know what they're looking at. Could you afford to see someone privately? I paid £200 to see a specialist because the NHS registrar made me feel like I was going mad and I was at the end of my tether. Maybe you could request your MRI, both the images and report and take them to an endo specialist to talk you through them. I am so sorry you're in such agony and feel you have no answers.
I had no idea what I was doing the first time I had to go private! Google "BSGE" "endometriosis" and then add your town/city/county. This should show you who is working local to you and then you Google the name of the consultants you find listed as staff there and "private." You will usually find they're working at one or more private hospitals near you. This is how I got to see the lead consultant of my nearest BSGE centre and it was literally five days from booking to seeing him. I didn't require a referral from my GP or gynae, I think most private hospitals don't for consultations.
If you're willing to travel, then you could find all of the surgeons working in the country and choose who you like the sound of, but staying local has the bonus that they will often add you to their NHS list if they think it's appropriate without you having to go back to your GP or general gynae to jump through hoops. If they see something on your MRI or lap images then they will be able to write to your doctors about that or if it's appropriate, put you on their own NHS list.
I really hope you get somewhere with all of this soon. Is this nortriptoline the only thing you've been offered or do you not tolerate other drugs well? I am currently in medically induced menopause while I wait for my lap, but before that I was on paracetamol, indometacin (prescription nsaid) and tramadol. I think maybe your GP could be doing more for you with pain management.
