Adeno diagnosis...I think? Should I still have a lap???
Even without any evidence of endo on the MRI, if its there could they still find it by doing a
laparoscopy
? Thankyou ❤️

How long off work is needed? Laparoscopy booked in
I am due to have my first
laparoscopy
on 20th September. I’m nervous about how long I will need off work and also loss of pay. Can someone enlighten me on how much time they needed and what sick pay is like? Thankyou!

Endo adeno and FET Tips
Had a
laparoscopy
with excision in May and currently on 2nd round of ivf . Im getting ready to do FET and really struggling to stay positive. Is there anything I can do to prepare my womb lining particulalry with adeno? Are there success stories? Would love to hear if so.

Newbie in town
I have been diagnosed during my
laparoscopy
at the end of October 2023. I was dealing with pain for years now which included finding out many drugs that I am allergic to... I haven't heard from the gynecology yet, but after the surgery I was told they found some endometriosis.

Laparoscopy 4 months ago privately and problem has returned
I had my second
laparoscopy
in May this year. I paid privately as I am undergoing fertility treatment and needed my tube sorting to be able to carry on. Going in to the operation I was told I would either have my tube clipped or removed depending on what could be done.

Guys Hospital Endometriosis Clinic - any experience
I was diagnosed by
laparoscopy
in 2020 after 20 years of symptoms and have had pain since which has been dismissed by my current consultant - but a recent ultrasound has found considerable fibroids and retroverted uterus - both of which are consistent with the pain I am having!

Post laparoscopy anxieties
I'm about a week post-op from my first
laparoscopy
which found stage 2 endo. In general, it was a good surgery and my pain is about manageable now. I'm still not overly mobile and can't bend down or anything so still relying on my partner to help me with a lot of things around the house.

bloating
hi all, looking for some advice - I have suspected endo awaiting
laparoscopy
and have had symptoms for around 8 years. I’ve noticed bloating has been worse in the past year & it’s getting to the point where I’m so bloated and uncomfortable I’m getting stretch marks on my stomach.

bruise like pain around scars
hi I had my
laparoscopy
in April and have 4 insertion sites. All sites have healed fine but I get pain like bruising pain in between two of the insertion scars- does anyone else get this? I’m sure it’s just internal healing / scar tissue . Thanks

No down regulation before FET (with endometriosis)
I have no endometriosis symptoms and am not having a
laparoscopy
at least for now. I have had implantation before and development of a pregnancy without any down reg (no live birth). Please share your encouragement on this if you can xx

Help with results!
I was diagnosed 3 years ago with endo via
laparoscopy
. Most of the endo was found on my pouch of douglas and ureteral sacral ligaments. Unfortunately the operation wasn’t done by an endo specialist!

Weight Loss?
I've been trying to get a diagnosis for 3 years now and I've been told that they won't do the
laparoscopy
until I lose weight. Since my issues started, I've put on five stone, and no matter what I do it continues to pile on.

Struggling with feeling like I’m “overreacting” whilst pushing for a diagnosis?
And also any advice on whether I should be pushing for a
laparoscopy
to diagnose and whether it’s worth it. I find the idea quite scary but not sure how else to get out of this stage of not knowing what to do about my pain and symptoms.

your thoughts welcome
Advice remove left ovary, cyst and left fallopian tube
laparoscopy
. Back to consultant soon to discuss. This consultation at least gave me option of just one side!

Confused
The NHS are very much pushing me down the hsg/
laparoscopy
route but I decided to see a private gynaecologist yesterday and he basically said what's the point in hsg/lap if you're having ivf. He said I can basically assume I have endometriosis and that this is the cause of my infertility.

Caudal epidural
I had a caudal epidural yesterday as a stop gap to help with pain while waiting for a date for my third
laparoscopy
. The epidural was done with sedation, and I have to say that the immediate sense of pain relief was amazing as I’d almost forgotten what it feels like to not be in pain!
