Guys Hospital Endometriosis Clinic - any experience

heya!

Wondered if anyone has any experience with the above clinic?

I was diagnosed by laparoscopy in 2020 after 20 years of symptoms and have had pain since which has been dismissed by my current consultant - but a recent ultrasound has found considerable fibroids and retroverted uterus - both of which are consistent with the pain I am having!

I am in a bit of an odd situation as was referred as an NHS patient to a private hospital during lockdown and whilst I was lucky to be treated quickly, I have been broadly dismissed by my consultant ever since and am considering asking to be referred elsewhere. Would also love to know if anyone has had good experiences with any other NHS London endo clinics (I have been to Kings several times whilst seeking diagnosis and did not have a great time so would rather not go back there).

yes I’ve had a good experience of guys but that was pre pandemic so I don’t know what wait times are like now. But I’ve had surgery with both lead surgeons at the centre - a year apart. The nurses are amazing too.
