best anesthesia for knee replacement surgery ?
However now I’m facing two
knee
replacement
surgeries in the next year. Im worried about a flare of RLS again. I’ve recently read that any surgery and/or anesthesia can trigger RLS. Even my orthopedic surgeon thought that anesthesia might have been my previous trigger.

Started simple stretching today.
I had a complete
knee
replacement
18 months ago.I've started simple stretching today, with a view to continuing daily. This is a prelude to commencing an exercise routine, probably at least a month before I try to do convention fitness.

Do I have Ords?
I’ve been having a big flare up of symptoms following
knee

Insufficiency Fracture - likely cause - Prednisilone
She recommend a
knee
replacement
, but is concerned that the prednisone would interfere with the success of the
replacement
process and has referred me to both a
knee
surgeon and rheumatology. I wonder if anybody else has experienced this situation?

I have recently had a
knee
replacement
so have been on oromorph and the leaflet says you can't take it with opiods. I have only just stopped taking oromorph but I feel it may still be in my system. Any advice would be appreciated.

Surgery and Pred?
I am due to have a
knee
replacement
fairly soon - I met someone else with PMR yesterday and she asked me whether I intended to increase my dose of Pred prior to surgery. I'd not thought about this and I hope it's not necessary. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Stopping Ibrutinib
Thanks, The stoppage will help as I will need cataract surgery soon plus
knee
replacement
in the near future. I am most concerned how soon can the CLL come back and will resuming Ibrutinib simply put it in remission again.

Unexpected visit to A&E
Fast forward to this week 3 1/2 weeks post total
knee
replacement
and have had niggling chest pains this week, culminating in yesterday having chest pain which g.n.T spray didn't relieve.. Ended up calling ambulance and trip to local A&E. Was a bit concerned about possibility of blood clots.

PMR again ?
Also, my husband had a total
knee
replacement
17 days ago and it has been a rough ride for him (and me !). I would be grateful for your advice as to whether to try pred again and, if so, how much ? Many thanks.

Total Knee Replacement tips with RA
Hi I am wondering if I can get any tips or recovery advice from members with Rheumatoid Arthritis that have had total
knee
replacements. I have an upcoming
knee
replacement
in November. I will have to stop my Humira I think, so any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

CHANGE OF BIOLOGIC TREATMENT
It gave me my life back for 14 years until I had my second
knee
replacement
operation in 2018. I have tried 3 more since then but they have not really helped as hoped. I am actually having Tocilizumab weekly injections. My rheumatologist is now considering trying another biologic.

OxyContin
I received a kidney transplant 11 months ago and received a
knee
replacement
this week. I know transplant patients are supposed to steer clear of NSAID. My orthopedic surgeon told me OxyContin would be ok for pain for a couple of weeks. I knew Tramadol wouldn’t suffice for pain.

It is imperative that I do all the exercises she gave me because if it doesn't heal on its own then I could be looking at a possible
