Knee replacement and Parkinson's
The problem is that he now needs total
knee
replacement
for both knees. We have a very long awaited appointment with Neurology nurse in October to discuss the wisdom etc of undergoing the surgery.

Total Knee Replacement
.- I've been given a date for my
knee
replacement
..it's in August and will be done in north London at a good NHS hospital. They have a centre for elective surgery and to be honest it's probably the best hospital option available to me.

Knee Replacement Yesterday
I had full
knee
replacement
surgery yesterday afternoon. On the advice of the surgical team I had my normal dose of Prednisolone in the morning. Epidural for the op and played nice music through my ear buds to drown out the sound of the team and the sawing and hammering 😬. All’s well.

High histamine reaction - is this common with hypothyroidism?
I am wondering if being hypothyroid has anything to do with high histamine reactions because I had anaphylactic shock during general anaesthetic when they were injecting drugs into my system for a
knee
replacement
?

Steroid injection for knee pain
Hi I have recently been told that I need a
knee
replacement
, but because I have had 3 stents in a blocked artery, I will have to wait 6 months for the OP! I am in quite a bit of pain and this is very dibilating, I cannot walk very far at all.

There are days when I am extremely lethargic but need to lose weight prior to
knee
replacement
and honestly it is hard work . So just wondering if anyone else has ended up gaining weight. Paul.

RLS worse after knee replacement
However, after recent
knee
replacement
surgery (7th Feb), the RLS is driving me mad. I'm up every night after 1 or 2 hours' sleep and end up taking an opioid to settle it.Can the pain from the knee be causing it? Any advice welcome.

Klonipin
hi all, I had
knee
replacement
surgery on June 18 and when I came home I was on pain meds so I stopped taking my klonipin. I was on .25 of Klonipin 3 x a day. My anxiety level was pretty low so I had not taken Klonipin for a week.
