Uva Ursi
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that Uva Ursi helps reduce UTIs by probably the same action as cranberry juice and d-mannose. Uva Ursi is however recommended for clearing the kidneys, which cranberry and d-mannose may not do. I am concerned about my kidneys because I have had a few really bad UTIs

Desperate for interpretation, please!
Been trying to send pix of results and keep losing whole post. So... On March 16, on 72.5mcg t3, my readings were as below and I felt great: Free t3= 6.2 (3.2-6.8) Free t4= <0.5 (11.2-20.2) TSH = <0.01 (0.27-4.2) I know two are low but does anyone think there’s something wrong? Could sometimes hear heart

Same Lab, Same Creatinine levels - Different Egfr's
Same Lab - Same Creatinine levels - Different egfr's Due to other health problems in addition to "ckd" my blood is tested every 3 weeks. I go to the same lab each time for testing. I keep track of my results over time. I noticed something of interest that I point out to others who track their Creatinine

Anything out of the ordinary?
Hi all, sorry for the graphic picture first! Does this like anything out of the ordinary? I.e., would you say it’s bloody, normal or diarrhoea, etc. Had some specs of blood on tissue for around 6/8 weeks now and initially I thought it may be just a cut. Usually have two pretty big poops in the morning

Is weight loss possible post transplant while on immunosuppressants?
I am almost 4 months post kidney transplant and I have gained over 15 kg. I have been exercising consistently and eating healthy for over 6 weeks now but my weight won’t budge at all. I have read that immunosuppressants can really mess with one’s metabolism and fat burning, and being 49 and likely

Flomax Issue!
I was treated for aggressive Prostate Cancer in 2012 with ADT followed by two months of Radiation Treatment. (Gleas 9 and PSA 6) My recent PSA Test Result was 0.15. (6/21)I have been most fortunate to this point. A constant problem I have is Extreme Dry Mouth. I know Flomax can be a cause of this condition
