Extra tests advice
Hi everyone, I’m starting to think about going for my 3rd
IVF
cycle and considering doing some extra testing first. However, my clinic (who I really like) are not recommending it. So just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and done something that’s gone on to make a difference?

Granocyte protocol- any experience?
I'm about to start my 7th round of
IVF
, my 3rd with donor eggs. I have one frozen embryo left. 2 cycles I had nothing to transfer, I've had 4 failed to implant and also a mc from a natural conception. My clinic has tried prednisolone, tacrolimus, IVIG as well as clexane and aspirin.

In despair
I’m 38, almost 39 and about to start my 5th
ivf
cycle. My husband and I had a huge row tonight about how we’ve waited too long to start our 6th round. July was our last egg collection (with transfers in between) and the next will be end of feb.

Fertility referral with children?
I understand we may not be eligible for
IVF
but can we still be referred to someone more specialist on the NHS to discuss options / further tests if appropriate or do we have to do everything privately. It’s frustrating only having advice from GP.

Chances of a miscarriage with a PGTA tested embryo
I am 6 weeks pregnant with a normal embryo (my one and only from a final
IVF
round) and have constant worries that the baby is no longer alive or that I will have a miscarriage, I know this is everyone’s fear and probably nothing is going to stop this anxiety but is there a lower chance of miscarriage

NHS Funding Question
We are now looking into
IVF
and ICSI. I’m wondering if anyone else has any experience of NHS funding and whether we would still be made to wait for the standard 2 years of trying or if they would progress things sooner because of the results?

Sudden headaches in pregnancy
As its an
IVF
pregnancy and I've been taking meds for so long surely that can't be the cause for the headaches? Has anyone else had severe headaches and had a positive outcome?

Worried of the worst happening...
I have the first scan for this (
IVF
) pregnancy on Friday and the wait has been painful, I found the 2 week wait less stressful, I think it's because the wait for the scan in much longer and that's too much time for your mind to run wild.

IVF clinics abroad - suggestions please!
Hello ladies While I await for my body to miscarry and am off, I would like to focus my attention and use my time off to research
ivf
clinics abroad.
Ivf
here appears to be about 14k which I cannot afford. Abroad may just be an option.

Looking for Donor Eggs in UK
I’m 42 & have still have some hope that I may conceive through my own eggs through an
IVF
round starting next month. However, I also remain realistic about my chances given my age .

Trigger warning: pregnancy loss- late/second trimester miscarriage
It’s been 7 long, painful years of infertility and
IVF
albeit with a successful pregnancy in the middle. I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at 17weeks and 4 days after 3 cycles of
IVF
- 5 transfers, 2 of which failed, 1 chemical pregnancy, 1 miscarriage and 1 ectopic pregnancy.

amh level please advise
We have been told we are finally closer to start the first
ivf
/ICSI cycle. We had the first call last week where they explained all the process, which was an awful download of information.

Frustrated, changing protocols due to no meds and clinic communication
It's either stress of
IVF
or perimenapause has kicked in. My egg reserves are low. The change/uncertainty is not help as currently also looking after my dying father so some stability would definitely calm the nerves. Rant over. Any words of wisdom or calm.

Seeking Advice for PCOS
The doctor recommended assisted conception treatments such as IUI and
IVF
as potential solutions. Upon returning to the UK, I started consulting my GP in November 2022. After undergoing numerous tests over several months, I was finally referred to an NHS Fertility Clinic in May 2023.
