My story started in 2011 which was when I had my lovely son ❤️. In 2014 we tried for another which led to miscarriage and D&C ☹️ after this we put trying on hold as it had a massive effect on me however we did try again without putting any pressure on ourselves. The years slipped by until it got to 7 years post miscarriage. I was having some mid cycle spotting and ended up having uterine biopsy and blow me away I fell pregnant the month after! Unfortunately I miscarried at around 10 weeks ☹️ I sought some expert help. Went privately and found out I have low ovarian reserve, possible adenomyosis/ endo as adhesions have been seen on front and back of my uterus wall.
Told chance of success with IVF would be 10-15% other option to investigate/ treat adenomyosis! So that’s where I’m currently at, last chance saloon it seems as I’m now 37. If anyone has any similar stories I’d love to hear from you ☺️

I’ve never been pregnant or had a MC but I’m at the start of my ivf journey after 3yrs TTC. I’m 38 and have been told I have low ovarian reserve (2.3 at last test 10 months ago) and adenomyosis was revealed on my pelvic ultrasound in Dec. My husband also has low morphology.
I had my follow up/review appointment today and discussed the options of having a MRI or laparoscopy to determine how severe the adenomyosis is and whether I might also have endometriosis. However the consultant said there isn’t a lot you can do to treat it as they wouldn’t recommend operating as risk damaging the tubes which could impact future pregnancies.
So the outcome in my case is try ICSI and I’m doing what I can to try an produce good quality eggs (supplements/diet/acupuncture). We’ve also chosen add ons of IMSI and embryo glue - these are not proven but as cost wasn’t huge decided to try. The chances are the same as you mentioned (10-15%) but figured we need to at least give it a go and learn from our first round before having any further tests (ERA/EMMA/ALICE).
Another option they said to consider is batching back to back cycles to get as many embryos as possible and then get them PGT-A screened to select the best ones for FET. Which I will consider if the first two rounds are unsuccessful. But if I don’t get any eggs then next step will be to try with DE.
I had a low ovarian reserve of 5 at age 38 and small chance of successful ivf.. Went ahead and tried it got 3 embryos... Only 2 fertilised.. Had a successful pregnancy with my little one soon turning one.. As they say it only takes one egg x
