Post IVF only please. When can resume exercise at “normal pregnancy” and not special IVF only walking rules?
POST
IVF
only as advice is not same as NHS/standard pregnancy advice. I’m 5 weeks (so happy etc!). my
IVF
clinic says I can’t swim or do gym exercise which is fine - no unnecessary risks - very happy to obey the rules. And will update me at the 6,5-7 week scan.

First IVF round - thought it was a success, but lost it very early 💔 Disappointed with the clinic as well...
I don't get it how this testing could be left for an
ivf
patient to self-diagnose and then the clinic just takes my words for granted and does not even check the results! It just blows my mind.

Another BFN (trying for a sibling) and next steps
After these 2 embryos, this will be the end of our
IVF
journey so it's going to be a very emotional 2024 for us (whatever the outcome!) Sending everyone lots of love and hopefully little miracles soon xxx

Worth seeing NHS gynaecologist after private surgery?
My private consultant has spoken to me about fertility challenges but my insurance doesn’t cover anything fertility or pregnancy related and we can’t really afford
IVF
. I’m on dionegest at the moment but once I’m done we will start ttc.

Pregnancy urine test or blood test?
My OTD is Friday so I was hoping to do the blood test on Wednesday (this was an option at my previous
IVF
clinic).

One final roll of the dice
We’ve finally made the decision (9 months after our last failed cycle) to have one last roll of the dice to try for a sibling (daughter born 2020 on fourth go at
IVF
/ICSI).

Recurrent implantation failure
We’d had 4 chemicals before starting
IVF
. I just wondered what, if anything, your clinics offered after having RIF? Were there investigations you were given or did you have to seek these out separately? Was there anything you pushed for which then helped?

Lack of cervical fluid
I had a failed
IVF
transfer in July. I had my withdrawal bleed as expected and during that cycle I had absolutely no cervical fluid. I did have some fresh red blood around Day 18, which my clinic said was most likely hormone fluctuations after my cycle. Fast forward to now, my next cycle.

Smoking and IVF
Hi I was a smoker for about 6 months before I decided to stop and go for
ivf
. Have been preparing myself with all the supplements for the last 2 months since April. I did smoke a few sticks (less than 10) during these 2 months due to very stress. I'm due for retrieval in Aug.

Amritriptyline and ivf
Hi ladies I'm on amritriptyline 35mg for functional dyspepsia. Previously I cut down to 10mg and stopped. Got back the pain 2 weeks later. And now back to 35mg. My stimulation is to be in August. Anyone taking this during stim? Did it affect your egg retrieval or quality?

Promotion and IVF, should I do a freeze all?
I’m in the process of a brand new fresh cycle. I’m due to start in the next few weeks, and incidentally, I was offered a promotion which I accepted without hesitation. I officially begin my new role in the next few weeks as well, and I’d like to go ahead with my cycle anyway because of my age (41) and

laparoscopy - recovery time before starting IVF.
hi all, I am thinking about doing laparoscopy surgery abroad (Turkey) to remove 5cm cyst on ovary and possibly small fibroids (3 fibroids: 66mm, 10mm and 7mm) and was wondering if anyone knows approximately how long it takes to recover before I can do
IVF
cycle again?

anyone else hate Provera?
, my first time doing “mild”
IVF
. My doc always prescribes Provera for 2 weeks before stims, and I find that every cycle I feel worse and worse with it. My heart races, I can’t sleep well, and my moods are absolutely insane (up and down, round and round).

Currently 7dp5dt - Stressing about Symptoms!!
This is my first cycle of
ivf
and I had a fresh transfer last week, was told I would get some spotting which is normal due to the procedure. Since then I had very sore boobs and light cramping.

failed cryo embryo transfer
My husband and I underwent
ivf
cycle earlier this year with own egg. We managed to get 9 eggs and 5 embryo. We had to get them genetically tested and after the long process we have 1 frozen embryo of high quality.

Cycle day of baseline scan
I was just wondering what cycle day a baseline scan is typically done for
IVF
. I was told by my clinic that I should have it on cycle day 18-25, but everything I've read about
IVF
says it's normally done between days 2-5 of the cycle so I'm really confused.
