Hi I was a smoker for about 6 months before I decided to stop and go for ivf. Have been preparing myself with all the supplements for the last 2 months since April. I did smoke a few sticks (less than 10) during these 2 months due to very stress. I'm due for retrieval in Aug.
Wanted to ask if anyone similar situation as me. Did ur past smoking affect ur egg quality?

I am not a smoker but i wouldn't imagine a few puffs would have a impact. However if your NHS they test you for carbon monixide a couple of times to verify that you aren't smoking so bare that in mind as it is a criteria to qualify for NHS.
I used to be a smoker and gave up over 3 years ago for IVF treatment. I spoke to my clinic after a failed cycle and was told it would only have an impact on egg quality if it was within the 3 months prior to the egg retrieval. I also know someone who has went through IVF and smoked in between trying for her 2 healthy children. Hope that helps
Never smoked and my egg quality is crap. Countless of women around the world smoke and have healthy babies. I have also seen women smoking during pregnancy 😳 and babies turned out fine. There is some impact there, studies don't lie, but there's so much that studies don't know yet.
As others said I can't imagine the few puffs you had recently making a huge difference at this point.
