Medication for HF/Cardiomyopathy
Hi all I have HF and cardiomyopathy. Had ICD in 2018. Now on Candesartin and Bisopralol. I had very severe vertigo prior to diagnosis. Anyway, since medication I have had numerous falls due to dizzyness, resulting in fractured spine and neck (no spinal cord damage, thankfully but did leave me in

Cardiac MRI
Hello my fellow BHF friends I’ve just had a call from Guys and St Thomas hospital telling me I need to have a cardiac MRI scan tomorrow. I’ve read the notes attached to the email they’ve just sent.......😳 to say I am nervous is an understatement! 1 hour and 30 minutes in the scanner, cannula fitted

Coil and Endo
Hi everyone! I have been on the Mini Pill (progesterone only pill) for years. Roughly 4 years. I have also tried up to 11 pills, an implant and the Depo shots! I have been diagnosed with Endo for almost 8 years. Recently, the pill hasn’t been doing me any favours with constant pain and constant bleeding

Strong heartbeat on left side low down under ribs
Hi For months I have had this very strong heartbeat ( so strong it is visible). I have heart failure, LLBB, and cardiomyopathy for which I have an ICD fitted in 2018. It worries me. I have not spoken to my heart nurse or the ICD monitoring about this strong pulse but wondered if anyone else had experienced

Endo and the Mirena coil
Has anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis whilst having the mirena coil I have had my coil in for almost three years now and am now waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy. Isn’t the coil supposed to help endometriosis?

2nd IUI failed
So I’m coming into my 3rd IUI try now and just feel crap. The clinic don’t seem to change the procedure in any way even though it clearly doesn’t work. I doubt the 3rd go will be any different so it’s likely I will be moving to IVF which really scares me

Is this too many drugs?! Prostap, Tibilone, Norethisterone, Tranexamic Acid, Mirena Coil
I'm so worried. I had a mirena coil fit in March, to help stop heavy periods. I have bled every single day since. The GP wouldn't remove it, as I hadn't given it enough time. Instead I ended up taking 9 Norethisterone a day (usually you take 3). Then I ended up in hospital because I couldn't handle the

Should I test Early? IUI
I had my second try of IUI on 29/07/2020 so my official test day is 12/08/2020 but this round has felt completely different to the last which I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. Last time I had constant cramps from trigger day all the way through until period came, last time I had aching

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my 1st post. In Dec 2019 I was a fit 51yo doing regular exercise (1 mile swim daily) when I suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
