Mirena Coil Replacement Issues
Hey everyone! I’ve been on the Mirena Coil for a long time now and it was the best thing that I ever did. Only issue is it’s now expired... and all my pain and bleeding is coming back and getting worse and worse and I just feel so depressed because before the coil I would be bed bound due to the chronic

BV and Copper IUD
In the summer i met my boyfriend and we did the same until i decided to get the copper
iud
/coil fitted. After having it fitted it was ok for a month or two but then i got BV. I treated it and it went away however, i have gotten every month/other month and it’s had a toll on my body.

Could my symptoms be Endo?
I'm also surprised I've had the pill,
IUD
, blood tests and ultrasound (a lot more than most women seem to get) without endo ever being mentioned to me. Is this usual? Thanks in advance for any help!

Internal defibrillator alarm just sounded
This is totally unbelievable - my internal defibrillator alarm has just gone off having had a ICD replacement at The Freeman hospital in Newcastle on Tuesday. I phoned the hospital only to be told the Pacing Dept. is closed over the weekend and to ring again on Monday. Lady on phone very brusque and

Just need to vent…
I received a letter from my long-term disability insurance provider. They were letting me know that due to the fact that I have a mental health diagnosis on the account they are limited to only paying me for the next two years. However the representative said that if I had a ‘real medical diagnosis’

adenomyosis Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with endo 5 years ago and diagnosed with adenomyosis on Friday. The consultant told me I have good egg reserve for the moment so to take my coil out and try and get pregnant straight away because I will need a hysterectomy in a few years! I’m 34, single, no children and now I feel numb

Ultrasound with IUD?
Hello, Does anyone know if any of the NHS services will provide an ultrasound scan with
IUD
fitting? I am considering getting the
IUD
but don't feel comfortable just guessing that "it all went well" once the procedure is done...

It’s two weeks today since my IUI and I know AF is on the way I can feel it. More pain after having mirena coil?
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site! I have been diagnosed with "suspected" endometriosis and adenomyosis after years of struggling. They won't do a laparoscopy yet to confirm and wanted to try the mirena coil first. I had it fitted a couple of weeks ago on day 6 of my cycle (which I found horrifically

Mirena vs dienogest after surgery?
Hi everyone, hope you're ok. My consultant wants me to have a mirena in during my surgery, but I have done some research and seen that dienogest is possibly better for preventing recurrence (especially of cysts). I also like the idea of taking a pill that I am in control of, rather than having the coil

Hi All, Recently I've experienced a new symptom, after urination and wipe there is blood, can be a lot. Also getting very hot, and actually feel ill pass out. I've got endometriosis, so bleeding after sex, painful tummy etc is normal for me. I checked the strings on my coil, and I couldn't feel them

Low Bp after running
Hi folks, Haven’t posted here for a while, just getting on with life and navigating the strange journey we’ve all been on over the last 12 months. Massive HA 2 years ago, single stent, significant scarring leading to EF 34% on last MRI in Jan 2020. Haven’t had a scan since, but taking Entresto, Eplerenone

PMDD, Endo and the Marina Coil
Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting in this group. I was officially diagnosed with Recto Vaginal Endo at the end of last year after 15 years. I've since had it removed and been put on the Marina Coil. Physically I'm so much better than I was but I started getting really depressive episodes

How long does tummy stay bloated/swollen
I did two weeks of meriofert and gonal f before doing the ovitrelle trigger shot then an IUI 11 days ago. My belly is still so swollen and bloated and last couple of days (especially yesterday) it felt sore low down in abdomen as did my ovaries. I think it’s probably my period on its way tbh but how

Advice ahead of appointment
Hello all, I am fairly new to the forum and currently undergoing a whole raft of tests for various things. I’ve always had irregular periods as well as issues with weight management, acne and hair growth. These have been more of an issue in the last year or so. I am also under investigation for endometriosis

Copper coil help and advise please
I have had the copper coil since 2017 and rarely had a period. Over the past few months I have been getting periods which can last a few days and are either very light or quite heavy. The cramp seems to be worse and I have gotten spots on my face which I have never had before. My partner can sometimes

TWW symptoms after IUI - positive stories and reassurance needed!
Hey everyone, I had my first IUI last Saturday so on day 8 and trying so hard not to symptom spot but it’s so hard!
